                    Pre-budget Consultation-2020 – Stakeholders’ Dialogue with BJP

Annual Budget making is an important exercise which impacts economic roadmap ahead. Any feedback and suggestion that helps the Party and the Government to increase its connect with the ground realities are welcome.

As the framing of the Budget 2020 gathers momentum; stakeholders and domain experts in the economic ecosystem approach the Party with their feedback and suggestions. Such suggestions can form useful policy inputs if they are properly analyzed and compiled in a meaningful manner. Certain important inputs also come out during discussions in a small and impactful group. As a ruling political party, it is always our endeavor to interact with stakeholders on important policy decisions of the government.

Keeping the above in mind, Bharatiya Janata Party is holding pre-budget stakeholders’ dialogue at Party head office in separate small groups with invited sectoral experts and associations’ office bearers. These consultations, starting from 19th December, 2019 would be completed by 14th January 2020. The plan is to hold 11 sectoral dialogues.

The consultations are being held with Shri Gopal Krishna Agarwal, national spokesperson on economic issues, and other general secretaries. The Reports from these consultations after deliberation with honorable BJP National Working President Shri J.P. Nadda Ji and BJP National General Secretary (Org) Shri B.L. Santosh Ji will be forwarded to the Central government.
