BJP National Spokesperson Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi said in a press conference held in Kolkata that Mamata Banerjee for seeking a period of 7 days to hand over a case to the CBI, despite being able to do it in just 70 seconds. This delay indicates her desperation. The insensitive behavior being exhibited by the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal is similar to the behavior being shown by the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh. From Kannauj to Kolkata, there is a dangerous mindset of hatred, disregard for women, and protection of criminals. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should answer whether their ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukaan’ is run only by criminals, corrupt individuals and rapists. Under Mamata Banerjee and TMC, Bengal has become a dangerous place for women. Following the grave incident that happened in RG Kar Medical College, a young woman’s bloodied body with a slit throat was discovered in a field in Bardhaman late at night. Additionally, a disabled girl was gang-raped in Shaktigarh. Instead of focusing on 'Beti Bachao', TMC is more engaged in a 'Balatkari Bachao Abhiyan'. On the same day the Calcutta High Court transferred the case to the CBI, a mob attacked peacefully protesting doctors and the hospital's emergency building, which is the crime scene location. The lack of security at this critical site raises serious questions. How could a mob target this area without prior planning? Such incidents suggest that lawlessness has taken over Bengal under TMC's rule.
BJP MP Shri Dinesh Sharma criticized the Mamata Banerjee government, calling Bengal a bastion of lawlessness and anarchy where the police are inactive and criminals operate openly. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya asserted that there is no effective governance in West Bengal and described the recent incident of rape and murder of a female doctor as deeply shameful for the nation. Shri Maurya condemned Mamata Banerjee’s government for its widespread failures.
Mamata Banerjee ought to resign and take moral responsibility for the incident, but instead, she blames 'Vaam and Ram'. TMC has thrown Bengal into violence for religious and political gain. Her focus on appeasement has led Mamata Banerjee to overlook the welfare of Bengal’s daughters. The physical torment of the female doctor is being matched by the TMC government’s assault on her dignity.

She seems to have abandoned the principles of ‘Maa, Maati, Maanush’. He questioned when Mamata Banerjee would take responsibility for the incident and resign, stating that she no longer has any moral, legal, or constitutional right to remain as the Chief Minister of West Bengal.
