BhartiyaJanta Yuva Morcha today paid tributes all over the country to Late General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff, his wife, Mrs MadhulikaRawat, and the other 11 deceased souls.  BJYM organized shraddhanjali programs in more than 500 shaheed samaraks across the country to honour the demise of our first CDS General Bipin Rawat and 11 other valiant bravehearts of Bharat, who lost their lives in an unfortunate helicopter accident. Prior to the tragic incident, General Rawat was to finalise the three unified theatre commands in the country which would result in better coordination between the Army, Navy and Airforce.

The untimely demise of the great warrior has left a huge void in the entire defence establishment. Lakhs of BJYM karyakartas across the country lit lamps and paid floral tributes to the deceased soldiers. The BJYM president Mr. Tejasvi Surya while walking along the funeral procession paid his heartfelt condolences towards the great patriots along with BJP Karyakartas, and hoped that their efforts will not go in vain and the military might of India will strengthen and grow with the tireless efforts of our bravehearts. The solemn occasion also witnessed the presence of leaders namely, Shri Raju Bista, Smt Locket Chatterjee, Shri PallabLochan Das, Shri Saumitra Khan, Dr Mahendra Solanki and Shri Praveen Kumar Nishad.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Sh Tejasvi Surya, MP and National President of BJYM said "We all have lost a great soldier whose service will always be remembered and respected. We will continue to draw inspiration from his glorious life and rededicate ourselves to the service of this nation and hope that his good work will be continued by his successors and he will be blessing us from heaven”.
