TMC MPs Shri Arjun Singh and Shri Dibyendu Adhikari joined the Bharatiya Janata Party

TMC MPs Shri Arjun Singh and Shri Dibyendu Adhikari have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Friday. During the event, BJP National General Secretary Shri Dushyant Gautam, BJP IT Cell Head and West Bengal BJP Co-Incharge Shri Amit Malviya, BJP Media Co-Incharge Dr. Sanjay Mayukh and BJP National Spokesperson Shri Krishna Kumar Sharma were present.

 

BJP National General Secretary Shri Dushyant Gautam highlighted Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's rising popularity nationally and internationally, as India moves from the 5th to the 3rd largest economy. He emphasized Shri Narendra Modi's commitment to welfare, lifting 25 crore people out of poverty, regardless of caste, religion, or language with the 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' initiative. Shri Gautam extended his welcome to Shri Arjun Singh and Shri Adhikari, into the BJP.

 

BJP IT-Cell Head Shri Amit Malviya criticized West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, alleging her failure in governance. Shri Amit Malviya conveyed that as a result of the negligence, MPs Shri Arjun Singh and Shri Dibyendu Adhikari have decided to join the BJP.  Shri Malviya stressed that under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, the BJP intends to chart a new course for West Bengal.

 

TMC MP Shri Dibyendu Adhikari expressed gratitude to all dignitaries of the BJP present at the event. Shri Adhikari praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, highlighting his widespread acceptance not only within the country but also on the Global front. Shri Dibyendu Adhikari emphasized that taking inspiration from the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he decided to join the BJP. He expressed his commitment and dedication towards the Bharatiya Janata Party's goal of achieving '400 Paar' in the upcoming elections. Additionally, he criticized the lawlessness and atrocities against women under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. Shri Adhikari expressed his gratitude to BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, and the entire BJP family for providing him with the opportunity to serve the nation as a part of the BJP. Shri Arjun Singh accused the TMC government of prioritizing power retention through the use of police and hooligans, pointing to incidents like the one in Sandeshkhali as evidence. Not just one Sandeshkhali, but the entire border area to every assembly of the West Bengal, somewhere or the other people are surviving like those of Sandeshkhali.
