Press Statement by BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda

 

Hon’ble Bhartiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed the media after the seventh and final phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections on Saturday and expressed that today the seventh and final phase of voting in the biggest election festival of India - the world's largest democracy, has been completed. On behalf of the BJP, I express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Election Commission of the country for the successful conduct of this election. The Election Commission has brought this great festival of democracy to its conclusion with full strength. The Election Commission of India conducts such a big election in such a smooth manner, which is a subject of research for the whole world. I also especially thank the lakhs of election workers who made a significant contribution to making the voting successful on the ground and the security personnel who maintained law and order during the entire election.

Shri Nadda expressed “I also thank the aware voters of the country who voted in all seven phases despite the scorching heat in this festival of democracy and salute them for making this great festival of elections a success. Along with this, I also thank the new voters who have become a part of this festival of democracy by exercising their vote for the first time.”

Hon'ble National President expressed gratitude towards the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, highlighting his relentless dedication in leading millions of Bharatiya Janata Party karyakartas in conducting extensive public outreach and encouraging voter participation. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for his tireless efforts. Additionally, I wish to thank the millions of party karyakartas for their active involvement in the electoral campaign. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, tireless endeavours were made to ensure the success of the democratic festival. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji conducted over 200 rallies during this election campaign, along with numerous road shows, and approximately 82 interviews, demonstrating relentless efforts to convey the election issues to the people across the nation.

Shri Nadda expressed his appreciation, extending gratitude to Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh, who diligently addressed approximately 180 rallies during the election campaign. I once again express my gratitude to the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for this election process, under whose leadership the party has conducted a successful election campaign and is now waiting for excellent results. I am also thankful to all the constituent parties of the NDA and thank them for participating enthusiastically in this election and taking the message of the NDA to the public.

Hon’ble National President stated that in this election, the voters of the country will choose a Saksham Bharat, Viksit Bharat, Samarthyavaan Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and an India that is progressing economically, setting aside appeasement, nepotism, and corruption. I have full faith that the voters of India will secure a victory for the BJP with more than 370 seats and for the NDA with over 400 seats under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
