Hon’ble Union Defence Minister and Senior BJP leader Shri Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Rohtak, Haryana. During this event, Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini, BJP National Secretary Shri Om Prakash Dhankhar, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Ramchandra Jangra, Rohtak candidate Arvind Sharma and other officials were present on the stage. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, various developmental works have been accomplished during the BJP government, while strong criticism was directed towards the corruption and appeasement politics during the Congress regime.

Shri Singh announced the commencement of the party's victory in Surat, Gujarat. BJP candidate has been elected unopposed in the Surat parliamentary constituency which was criticized by Congress members, labeling it as a threat to democracy. Responding to Congress, Shri Rajnath Singh questioned their awareness of the historical context, highlighting that in an independent India, there have been 28 instances of unopposed candidates becoming MPs, with 20 from the Congress party alone. The question of whether democracy is endangered only when a BJP candidate is elected unopposed.

Criticizing the frustration of the Congress, Mr Singh said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi used to contest elections from Amethi, but after losing from there he fled to Wayanad in Kerala. His party wanted Rahul Gandhi to contest from Amethi, he couldn't gather the courage to do so and ran away from Amethi. This move has raised concerns that people might nickname him due to his avoidance of electoral challenges. Those who flee the electoral arena after facing defeat cannot be entrusted with leading the country. To lead the country one must have a '56 inch ka Seena' and a strong heart.

Union Minister Shri Singh stated that India is progressing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. India is achieving new heights and is being recognized globally for its new approach to development. The pace of development under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership surpasses that of any previous government. India's global stature is increasing, and other countries now take India seriously on international platforms, which wasn't the case before. The Indian economy has seen significant growth under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, moving from the 10th to the 5th largest in the world. Economists predict that by 2027, India will become the third-largest economy globally. India is now considered one of the powerful nations worldwide.

Respected Shri Singh mentioned that Fawad Hussain, a former Pakistani Minister, admitted in Parliament that Pakistan was behind the Pulwama attacks. Now, Fawad Hussain is praising Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on social media. After the Uri and Pulwama attacks, India responded strongly, proving it can retaliate even across borders. India’s farmers can buy a bag of urea fertilizer for ₹286, while it costs ₹3,000 in America, ₹750 in Pakistan and ₹800 in Bangladesh. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has promised to keep urea prices stable to support farmers. Financial aid is provided to farmers through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. During the Russia-Ukraine war, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ensured the safe return of 22,000 Indian students to India within a 4-hour ceasefire.

Senior BJP leader Shri Singh stated that the Congress party has engaged in divisive politics, pitting Hindus against Muslims. The Bharatiya Janata Party does not engage in caste, creed, or religious-based politics but focuses on justice and humanity. The Congress party's demand for religious-based reservations goes against the Constitution. They try to gain support by deceiving the Indians. Previously, terrorist attacks occurred frequently across the country. When many army personnel were killed in the Mumbai terrorist attack, the then Home Minister of Congress didn't take it seriously, stating that terrorist incidents happen regularly. However, the world's perception of India has changed since then. No one has the audacity to look down upon India and no state in India should face terrorist attacks.

Hon’ble Shri Singh stated that the Indian public is about to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's aspirations.  Mahatma Gandhi had said after independence in 1947 that the Congress, under whose banner we fought for freedom, should now be dissolved and politics should not be run in the name of Congress. There should be no attempt to forget the sacrifices of our martyrs and voters should elect leaders based on their work. However, the Congress did not heed Mahatma Gandhi's words after independence. The goal Mahatma Gandhi had of dissolving the Congress should be achieved by the people in this election. Mahatma Gandhi aimed to eradicate poverty from the country and despite the governments of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh, none could lift India out of poverty. However, NITI Ayog and IMF have acknowledged that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has performed miracles, and the Modi-led BJP government has successfully lifted 250 million people out of poverty. Within the next decade, poverty will be completely eradicated in India, leading to a transformation in the country's status, making India a global superpower by 2047.

Shri Singh criticized a statement made by the Indian Overseas Congress President, Sam Pitroda. Sam Pitroda suggested implementing America's inheritance tax in India, where when the head of a family dies, half of their property is transferred. More than 55% of this share goes to the government, leaving only 45% for the family. Congress leaders want to impoverish the country. However, the people of the country are politically aware and will not allow Congress leaders' conspiracy to divide the nation again to succeed under any circumstances.

Union Minister Shri Singh mentioned that although he's discussing successes, failures have also been encountered. Recalling a setback with Chandrayaan-2, where the lander couldn't touch down on the Moon's south pole. This brought tears to the scientists' eyes. However, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi immediately comforted them, assuring that no matter the cost, India would reach the Moon, unstoppable by any force. Following this, Indian scientists successfully launched Chandrayaan-3, making India the first country to land a spacecraft at the Moon's South Pole.

Shri Singh mentioned an incident from Rajiv Gandhi's time when only 14 paise out of every rupee sent from Delhi reached the public due to corruption. However, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, the central government has taken effective measures to tackle corruption. Now, every rupee sent by the government goes directly into the public's account.  Bringing an end to corruption won't work; it requires changing the system, which the government is actively doing.

Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Singh urged everyone to support the Lotus symbol and vote for the BJP candidate, Shri Arvind Sharma. He appealed for the BJP to win the government for the third consecutive time with a strong majority across the country.
