Hon’ble BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda expressed that the first Union Budget for 2024-25 in the third term of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji stands as a testament to India's commitment to inclusive growth, sustainable development, and economic resilience. This visionary budget addresses the nation's immediate needs while also establishing a robust framework for long-term prosperity by prioritizing infrastructure development, technological innovation, and social welfare. The budget paves the way for a more prosperous and equitable India, with forward-looking policies and strategic investments poised to accelerate growth, create jobs, and enhance the quality of life for all citizens.

 

Shri Nadda described the budget as a significant step towards realizing the aspirations of a dynamic and self-reliant India. He congratulated Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Union Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman and their team for delivering a budget focused on the needs of villages, the poor, farmers, women, youth, Dalits and Adivasis, and serving the aspirations of all sections of society. The budget demonstrates India's economic and financial stability and highlights the resilience of the Indian economy in the face of external challenges.

 

Hon’ble BJP National President stated that the government continues to empower people in rural areas, women and weaker sections of society to ensure they are part of India's homogeneous growth journey. The Indian economy has undergone profound positive transformation in the last decade. Under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the economy has gained new vigor, with the benefits of development reaching the people at the bottom level of society.

 

Shri Nadda highlighted the optimism surrounding India and noted that the budget places great emphasis on the development of youth and women, support for poor farmers, better credit for MSMEs, infrastructure development, and a boost for religious tourism. The 4.9% fiscal deficit indicates continued fiscal consolidation. The establishment of twelve plug and play industrial parks in 100 cities, bonus for first-time jobs, a focus on energy security, and urban housing as priority areas.

 

BJP National President Shri JP Nadda stated that employment will be bolstered by internships in top companies, while rural development receives a substantial investment of ₹2.66 lakh crore. He emphasized improved working conditions for women, enhanced agricultural productivity with high-yield crop varieties, and tax relief for the salaried class under new tax slabs. The Indian economy is on the right track, moving towards 'Viksit Bharat.' Shri Nadda expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Union Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman and her team for delivering a people-friendly budget.
