Salient points of Senior BJP leader and Former Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad’s Media byte

Congress is resorting to issuing black papers to conceal its corruption and black deeds. During their tenure, scams like 2G spectrum, Coal, Adarsh- looted ₹10-15 lakh crore from the nation's coffers, betraying the trust of the people

Rajeev Gandhi's admission that only 15 rupees out of 100 reached the public, compared to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's government, where even 1 rupee sent ensures the full amount reaches the public, underscores Congress's inefficiency

Congress' vote-bank politics is riddled with embarrassment, opposing the Shah Bano case and altering the Supreme Court's ruling, and resisting triple talaq reforms.  Their leaders snubbed the Ayodhya ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event, prioritizing votes over principles

Senior BJP leader and Former Union Minister Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad emphasized that in order to conceal their black deeds, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has discussed releasing a black paper. What further actions can those engaged in corruption and black deeds take. Under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is earnestly advancing at a commendable pace. Scandals such as the 2G spectrum, Coal Scam, Adarsh Scam, and Submarine Scam, totaling 10-15 lakh crore, have now been halted. Today, assistance exceeding 30 lakh crore through direct benefit transfers is being provided to the poor in their bank accounts. There are no middlemen now. Over 10 crore fake accounts, which exploited national resources, have been shut down. Therefore, we comprehend the problems of Congress leaders and Mallikarjun Kharge.

Shri Ravi Shankar highlighted Rajeev Gandhi's assertion that out of 100 rupees sent, only 15 rupees reached the public, contrasting it with the efficiency of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's government, where if 1 rupee is sent, the entire amount reaches the public. Shri Prasad emphasized that over Rs 2 lakh crore is directly transferred to 11 crore farmers' bank accounts, catering to every segment of society. Presently, India's economy ranks among the top 5 globally. During the UPA's tenure, India was among the "fragile five" economies, plagued by policy paralysis, and the world was taking its money out of India. Now, India's economy ranks fifth globally and is poised to become the third largest in the near future.

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad noted that India is currently experiencing a significant influx of foreign reserves and investments, while the Made in India initiative is achieving unprecedented success and reaching new heights. Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad questioned the opposition's cry about unemployment, asking what the UPA had accomplished during their tenure. He highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, significant achievements have been made, including the registration of 18 crore people in the Employees Provident Fund, progress in the digital economy, India ranking second in mobile manufacturing, rapid development in road infrastructure, advancement of women's self-help groups, and the creation of numerous government job opportunities. When production and manufacturing will increase, new companies will open and it will eventually result in opportunities. Boeing is also establishing their plants in India.

Shri Ravi Shankar asserted that as far as inflation is concerned, Mallikarjun Kharge shouldn't say anything because during the Congress era, the inflation rate was above 11%, but today, as per the sayings of the World Bank, IMF, and other major economic institutions, India has one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. The opposition has leveled numerous disgraceful accusations, one of which is aimed at the Prime Minister regarding discrimination, their accusations could not be more embarrassing. The Congress even opposed the Shah Bano case and changed the Supreme Court's decision, opposed triple talaq as well, their vote bank politics was evident through their actions.

Shri Prasad expressed that the Congress' vote-bank politics is filled with embarrassment to the extent that despite receiving official invitations, their party leaders did not attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Prabhu Ram in Ayodhya for fear of losing votes. This illustrates the grip that vote bank politics holds over them. Considering the trajectory of the Congress party over several decades, it has consistently declined, yet their focus remains on the 'Vote Bank Politics'. The attempts made by the Congress party to sow division in the country have been recognized by the citizens which has been the primary reason for them to be distant from the party.

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad remarked that as far as corruption is concerned, PM Shri Narendra Modi has clearly stated that there will be no compromise regarding this. Pain can be understood because both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi of the Congress are accused of corruption. Bail has been rejected, caution has been rejected in the National Herald case, and even ₹1 lakh crore has been recovered. They have made several attempts to stop the proceedings, but these proceedings will not stop and strict action will be taken against those involved in corruption. There is no place for those who loot the country, under the government led by Shri Narendra Modi.

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad highlighted that today, a white paper is coming out, through which the dark deeds of the Congress will be exposed in front of the country. In the elections, the NDA will cross 400 seats as PM Shri Narendra Modi has conveyed, and the reality of the Congress will be revealed to the nation, shedding light on the true intentions of those who claim to seek justice and national unity.
