SALIENT POINTS OF THE PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE BJP NATIONAL SPOKESPERSON AND MP DR SUDHANSHU TRIVEDI

 

 It is a matter of deep concern and disappointment that the Congress party is indulging in violent protests and arson in order to save a family which in involved in corruption. Ironically two Chief Ministers of the Congress ruled states are camping in Delhi for the past 3 days taking part in the protests by neglecting their official work and not caring for the people of their respective States.

Self- discipline is very important for Swaraj. When Mahatma Gandhi realised that violent protests are becoming part of his non-cooperation movement, he had famously said that though he or his movement had nothing to do with the non-cooperation movement, he took moral responsibility of the violent protests and ended his pan-India non-cooperation movement.

The then Congress party President Lala Lajpat Rai had said though our movement has failed, it had shown the great leadership of our leader which was a matter of great satisfaction.

After 100 years corruption cases of so called and self declared hier of the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi have come in public domain now. Though post Independence there have been cases of corruption levelled against those in power, but this is a strange case where top party leadership have been charged with corruption cases for usurping party's own assets and properties.

The National Herald case started in November 2012 during the Congress led UPA government. No government agencies had then started investigation this case of corruption. Investigation started after the High Court order , following which Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had to seek bail.

There was a time when the Congress leadership had given the example of its vastness, and now we see that how today's Congress leaders are trying to hide corruption case by restoring to violence and arson. This clearly shows the great decline of the moral values and stature of the Congress party from the times of Mahatma Gandhi to now Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

When the Congress party had two Prime Ministers, they had given Bharat Ratna to themselves. The same leaders and the same family had usurped the properties of National Herald which was created by the cooperation of our great freedom fighters.

This shows how so called self declared hier of the legacy of our  freedom fighters is cheating and fooling his party workers.

During the Independence Movement the Congress party used to claim that it has donated the Anand Bhawan to the party. Here the top Congress leadership first gave Rs 90 crore loan to AJL and then took back Rs 90 crore loan on behalf of AJL. Then as Young Indian Ltd they returned the loan and showed the ownership of AJL. From how many such transactions have the Congress leadership benefitted?

In today morning's press conference of the Congress party two Chief Ministers of the Congress ruled states were also present. What are these Congress Chief Ministers doing in Delhi for the past 3 days by leaving their official work in their respective States? The people of the two states democratically elected the Congress party to rule their states, are the Congress party and its Chief Ministers cheating and fooling the people of these states? The people of the country and the Bharatiya Janata Party demand an answer on this from the Congress party.

Rahul ji is currently neither the Congress party president nor the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha. He is just an ordinary MP, not even a senior MP. There are many Congress party MPs who are much more senior than him. Which clearly means that in the Congress party there is no value attached to seniority  of post or experience of  leaders. The Congress party has purely become a family oriented party.
