Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Sunday. During the press conference, Dr. Trivedi criticized the ‘Maha rally’ organized by the INDI Alliance in Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi, in protest of CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in the Liquor policy case. Dr. Trivedi criticized that the parties submerged in corruption and facing corruption charges were now supporting another corrupt party. Dr. Trivedi highlighted the contrast between PM Shri Narendra Modi's credible government and the crisis of credibility in the opposition.

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi remarked that today, Delhi will witness a peculiar spectacle in Indian politics. Parties that once entered politics by condemning corruption in other parties are now aligning with them. Dr. Trivedi highlighted that it's unprecedented in Indian history to see a Maha rally announced in a state where the Chief Minister is arrested yet continues to govern from jail.

Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi pointed out that the alliance partners include several leaders with past legal issues: RJD President Lalu Yadav was jailed in 1997, JMM founder Shibu Soren in 2006, DMK leaders A Raja and K Kanimozhi in 2011, INC leader Suresh Kalmadi in 2010, SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav faced a DA case in 2007, and Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi were on bail in a 2013 case. Shri Trivedi emphasized that all these cases were registered before 2014. Shri Trivedi criticized these leaders for their past corruption allegations and anti-Hindu remarks, yet they were now gathering at Ramlila Maidan to hide their corruption, which he described as "Chori pe seena zori." Shri Trivedi condemned the rally as a shameful gathering of leaders from corrupt families, highlighting a crisis of credibility in Indian politics.

MP DR. Sudhanshu Trivedi highlighted the contrast between past movements at Ramlila Maidan, such as the 'India against corruption' movement led by Anna Hazare, and the current rally led by Lalu Prasad Yadav, symbolizing a shift from anti-corruption to a gathering of corrupt leaders. Dr. Trivedi emphasized that while the BJP, under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, stands for authenticity and credibility in politics, the INDI Alliance represents a crisis of credibility. The BJP's principle is to fulfill its promises, whereas the INDI Alliance tends to do the opposite of what they promised. Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi pointed out that parties involved in corruption for 2-3 generations have now become habitual to corruption.

Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi accused the INDI alliance of misnaming their rally as 'Loktantra Bachao' when in reality it's a 'Parivaar Bachao' and 'Bhrashtachar Chupao' rally. Dr.  Trivedi criticized the INDI alliance, alleging that they are united in corruption, and predicted that the rally would showcase new dimensions of nepotism. Dr. Trivedi asserted that democracy and opposition to Modi serve as mere excuses for the INDI alliance, which is actually attempting to conceal its sins and corruption. Dr. Trivedi emphasized that while the parties within the INDI alliance may have internal conflicts, they unite on one stage when it comes to corruption.

BJP spokesperson Dr. Trivedi highlighted that, meanwhile, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is conducting a rally in Meerut, a land that sparked the 1857 revolt, the First War of Independence against the British. From this historic land, Shri Narendra Modi will champion the ideology of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.' And on the other hand in Delhi, parties that labeled the 1857 revolt as a Mutiny, influenced by foreign ideologies, disrespect Hindu Dharma, Indian Culture, and engage in corruption, will be observed. Shri Trivedi pointed out that on one side, there are parties that prioritize their own families, while on the other side, there are parties that consider all 140 crore Indians as their family.

Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi emphasized that it's not the time for new and experimental politics; instead, it's time to move forward with tried and tested leadership. Dr.  Trivedi pointed out that at Ramlila Maidan, people were deceived in the name of new politics and the struggle against corruption. The protest included Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi, Kumar Vishwas, and individuals who once claimed that everyone was involved in corruption but have now allied themselves with those very corrupt people. Dr. Trivedi likened this situation to the lyrics of the song "Rehte the kabhi jinke dil mein ye jaan se bhi pyaaron ki tarah, baithe hain unhi ke kooche mein par aaj gunehgaaron ki tarah". Dr. Trivedi emphasized that these culprits will be thoroughly answered by the people.
