Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday. During the conference, Dr. Trivedi sharply criticized the INDI Alliance and the Samajwadi Party, alleging that they shield criminals and are indifferent to serious crimes. He pointed out cases involving SP leaders in Ayodhya and Kannauj and accused the West Bengal government of protecting criminals.

 

Dr. Trivedi remarked that the country has seen the INDI alliance's disorderly behavior and arrogance, and is now also observing the involvement of its associates in criminal activities. The nation is observing not only the criminal involvement but also the boldness and audacity to commit crimes, as well as the protection of these crimes by factions of the INDI alliance.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Trivedi highlighted that in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party leader Moid Khan is accused of raping a minor. The insensitivity and shamelessness with which this issue has been politicized was highly condemned. Another serious accusation of rape and attempted rape involving a minor has been made against a leader affiliated with the Samajwadi Party in Kannauj. While the crime is serious, the greater concern is the insensitivity shown towards such offenses. Initially, the Samajwadi Party denied any association with the accused, but a female SP leader has acknowledged that the Kannauj suspect was a former member of the party. However, the leader also made an extremely insensitive and inappropriate remark, questioning why the 15-year-old girl was out late at night looking for a job. This reveals the SP's true nature and their tendency to shield such criminals.

 

Dr. Trivedi highlighted that in Uttar Pradesh, two girls who were raped and then committed suicide due to the lack of justice. In response, a Samajwadi Party leader commented, "Ladko Se Galti Ho Jaya Karti Hai." Since the Lok Sabha elections, the associates of 'Do Ladke' are not just making mistakes but committing crimes. With the increasing influence of these Do Ladke, the audacity and confidence of criminals have also risen proportionately. The Bharatiya Janata Party believes that crimes and criminals should be judged solely based on their actions, not on caste, religion, or political affiliations. Nevertheless, insensitive demands for unnecessary measures such as DNA tests are still being made by the Samajwadi Party.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Trivedi remarked that the Samajwadi Party's DNA is characterized by 'support for crime and criminals.' The confidence of criminals was highest during the rule of the Samajwadi Party. The renowned poet and senior Samajwadi Party leader Adam Gondvi expressed his dismay at the high morale of the party's criminal elements through his writing that "Kaju Bhuna Hai Plate Mein Aur Whiskey Glass Mein, Utara Hai Ram Rajya Yoon Vidhayak Nivas Mein, Pakke Samajwadi Hain Taskar Ho Ya Dakait, Kitna Asar Hai Khadi Ke Ujale Libas Mein." The statement made by the Samajwadi Party leader is sufficient to reveal the current DNA of the Samajwadi party.

 

Dr. Trivedi remarked that the swift removal of the principal and his immediate reassignment to another college within 24 hours exposes the West Bengal government's protective attitude towards these criminals. It also casts serious doubts on the credibility of any investigations conducted by the West Bengal government.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Trivedi questioned why does the Chief Minister of West Bengal show such affection towards the principal? Despite demands for the CBI to take over the investigation, Mamata Banerjee is saying that if the investigation isn't completed in a few days, she will hand over the case to the CBI. Is this extension being given to allow for some form of manipulation? This situation is reminiscent of what was seen in Sandeshkhali. If the West Bengal government wanted to conduct an honest investigation on this matter, then why was it waiting for time to transfer the case to the country's highest investigative agency immediately?

One must rise above party loyalties and think critically about these matters, ensuring that no efforts are made to protect criminals, boost their morale, or grant them any leniency.
