Salient Points of Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia’s Press Conference

The nation and the BJP, has come together to support Neha's family's quest for justice. Neha's father has courageously expressed his distrust of the Karnataka Congress, accusing them of engaging in superficial politics

**********************

The Congress party and the INDI Alliance are engaging in three problematic strategies: blatant appeasement politics, promoting an anti-Hindu agenda, and aligning themselves with anti-India forces solely to gain power.

**********************

Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi, who have often spoken about 'Nyay' (justice), have not visited the victim's family, raising questions about their commitment to justice.

**********************

The brutal murder serves as a clear example of 'Jungle Raj' in the state, indicating a breakdown in law and order. Concerns are growing as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah appears unconcerned about the deteriorating situation.

**********************

BJP National President Shri JP Nadda personally met with the victim's family, pledging justice on behalf of every BJP karyakarta. Despite being in opposition in Karnataka, the BJP recognizes its responsibility to support the victim's family in their pursuit of justice.

**********************

The Karnataka government and CM Siddaramaiah are providing security to the accused, who belongs to a specific religion, rather than supporting the victim's family.

**********************

The undue influence of political leaders on the Karnataka Police is hindering a thorough investigation. A CBI inquiry could ensure impartiality and help achieve justice in this case.

**********************

The victim's father, Niranjan Hiremath, has openly expressed his frustration over the negligence in handling the case by both the lady commissioner and the Karnataka government. He has declared that he has lost faith in their approach and has strongly demanded a CBI investigation into the incident.

**********************

Mamata Banerjee openly admitted to engaging in appeasement politics, acknowledging the Muslim community as a significant vote bank for her government. At the same time, she threatened a Hindu devotee chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' by saying, "Teri Chamadi Udhed Dungi"

The Bharatiya Janata Party's National Spokesperson, Shri Gaurav Bhatia, held a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Monday. During the conference, Shri Gaurav Bhatia condemned the recent Hubballi murder case and accused the Congress party of engaging in appeasement politics. Shri Bhatia stressed that while the BJP works to improve the lives of all segments of society, the INDI Alliance aims at appeasing specific religious groups.

Shri Bhatia confidently asserts that the BJP-led NDA is on track to win a landslide victory with 400 seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, pointing to a significant increase in their electoral momentum. This surge appears to have rattled the INDI Alliance and the Congress party, who seem to be showing signs of unusual panic. They are adopting three concerning strategies: blatant appeasement politics, promoting an anti-Hindu agenda, and aligning with anti-India forces solely to gain power.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia recently addressed the brutal murder of Neha Hiremath in Hubballi, Karnataka. The whole nation has come together to support her family's quest for justice. Notably, the late Neha's father, a Congress party cooperator, has publicly declared his loss of faith in the Karnataka Congress, citing their focus on superficial politics. This tragic event is a stark example of 'Jungle Raj', signaling a breakdown in law and order. Concerns are growing as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seems indifferent to the worsening crisis.

Shri Bhatia highlighted that BJP National President Shri JP Nadda personally visited the victim's family and assured them of justice on behalf of every BJP karyakarta. Despite being in opposition in Karnataka, the BJP acknowledges its responsibility to support victims. Shri Bhatia stressed that the accused belongs to a specific religion and criticized the Karnataka government for providing security to him rather than supporting the victim's family. Instead of standing with the family of the victim, the state government is backing the accused.

Shri Bhatia pointed out that both the Karnataka state government and the local corporator are led by the Congress party, yet it is the BJP that stands firmly behind and supports the victim's family. He raised concerns about the influence of political leaders on the Karnataka Police, which is hindering a proper investigation. Shri Bhatia advocated for a CBI investigation to ensure impartiality and justice in the case.

Shri Bhatia highlighted the remarks made by Congress Corporator Niranjan Hiremath, who expressed frustration over the lack of progress in the investigation into the murder of his daughter, late Neha Hiremath. Despite providing the names of eight individuals believed to be involved, none have been apprehended, leading him to lose faith in the Karnataka government. He voiced concerns about potential attempts to divert attention from the case and called for a CBI investigation to ensure transparency and accountability.

Niranjan Hiremath criticized the lady commissioner for not treating the case with the seriousness it deserves, suggesting that she might be acting under external pressure. He demanded her transfer due to alleged negligence and insisted that the case be handed over to the CBI for a thorough investigation.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that when Congress corporator Niranjan Hiremath requested a CBI investigation into the murder of his daughter, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar rejected the request, claiming it was unnecessary. Shri Bhatia criticized the collapse of law and order in Karnataka, accusing the state government of shielding the murderers. He claimed that the incident was a clear case of "Love Jihad," yet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah failed to take action, seemingly siding with criminals based on their religion, thereby violating his oath of office. Shri Gaurav Bhatia asserted that if Siddaramaiah remained silent, the BJP would intensify its demands for justice, calling for the Chief Minister's resignation if he couldn't deliver justice to the victim's family.

Shri Bhatia claimed that the Karnataka Chief Minister was under pressure to appease Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge, leading him to disregard his constitutional oath. He questioned whether the Congress party, which often speaks of 'Nyay', would actually deliver justice to the victim's family. Shri Bhatia criticized Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for her silence on the matter despite her campaign slogan, "Ladki Hun Lad Sakti Hun", while Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra remained quiet. He raised significant concerns about a Chief Minister declaring that the case was not "Love Jihad" while the investigation was still ongoing, suggesting this contributed to the collapse of law and order in the state. Shri Bhatia described this situation as the 'new normal' in Karnataka.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia highlighted that the late Neha Hiremath was tragically killed for refusing a proposal from a man of another religion, revealing a concerning issue within the INDI Alliance that the BJP must address. He mentioned the Rameshwaram Blast incident, where the Karnataka government protected the accused based on their religion, but when the NIA intervened, the accused were arrested, indicating another aspect of appeasement politics in West Bengal. Shri Bhatia stressed the importance of independent investigative agencies operating under the constitution, contrasting this with Karnataka, where the state government allegedly pressured agencies to favor culprits from a specific religion.

He criticized the Congress party for prioritizing votes over women's safety, pointing to incidents in Karnataka where Hindu devotees chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' during Ram Navami were harassed and forced to chant 'Allah hu Akbar' instead. Shri Bhatia questioned whether constitutional rights would be upheld in Karnataka and West Bengal or if the government would continue to be a mute spectator.

Shri Bhatia highlighted an incident in Karnataka where an honest man was assaulted for playing the Hanuman Chalisa in his shop, demonstrating the complete collapse of law and order in the state, akin to 'Jungle Raj.' He criticized the Congress party for engaging in appeasement politics, endangering the constitution, and ignoring anti-Hindu sentiment. Shri Bhatia questioned why Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi, who often speak about 'Nyay', had not met with the victim's family.

He pointed out that the Congress manifesto includes a promise to strengthen personal laws, which seems to reflect the ideology of Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Shri Bhatia questioned whether Congress would reintroduce Triple Talaq, a practice abolished by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Shri Bhatia criticized P. Chidambaram for suggesting that the Congress would repeal laws like the CAA if they came to power, and the TMC for pledging not to implement the CAA in the state, which violates their constitutional oath. He cited Mamata Banerjee's admission of appeasement politics and her opposition to the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), which contradicts Article 44. Shri Bhatia referred to an instance where Mamata Banerjee admitted to engaging in appeasement politics when asked by a reporter, acknowledging that the Muslim community represents a significant vote bank for her government. Furthermore, he mentioned a concerning incident where Mamata Banerjee threatened a Hindu devotee who was chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' by saying, "Teri Chamadi Udhed Dungi".

Shri Bhatia also criticized DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin for opposing the CAA, describing the mindset of the INDI Alliance as anti-national, anti-Hindu, and deeply rooted in appeasement politics. He urged citizens to raise their voices against appeasement politics and to fight for justice for the victims.
