SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI AT THE
CONCLUDING SESSION OF BJP NATIONAL OFFICE BEARERS MEETING
Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while giving us directions and motivating us in his speech today said that the philosophy of the Bharatiya Janata Party is -- integral humanism; its ideology is -- cultural nationalism; and its 'mantra' is -- 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabha Prayas'. We have to continuously move forward on these principles and ideology.
Under our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the last 8 years of the Bharatiya Janata Party government have been of commitment and deliveries. Our government is dedicated for service, good governance and welfare. These 8 years have been dedicated to fulfilment of aspirations of small farmers, workers and middle class. These 8 years have also been dedicated towards fast and balanced development of the country, social justice and social security. These 8 years have also been dedicated to women empowerment and their self esteem.
The Bharatiya Janata Party through its foreign affairs department has started 'Know the BJP' new programme to let the world know about the Bharatiya Janata Party, its policies and growth . Heads of Missions of various countries are being told about the growth and development of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Recently the President of Nepal visited the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters to know about our party. So far the Heads of Missions of 28 countries have visited the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters. By June this year we would have interacted with Heads of Missions of 100 nations. We are also focusing on building party -to- party connect with major political parties across the world. We have to act on the policy of “Act Locally, Think Globally”.
Under our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India has been able to reduce the number of its extreme poor people by 12.3% in last 8 years . Also, the International Monetary Fund in its report has conceded our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji through his important initiatives during the Corona pandemic has given major relief to poor people and despite the pandemic has been successful in keeping extreme poverty at just 0.8%.
Under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India crossed $ 400 billion mark in exports in last financial year, which is a historic achievement. Earlier it was said that Indian economic runs on credit and loans and India doesn't export, but this has now been shattered. Today India has emerged as a major exporting hub. Similarly after Independence the turnover of our Khadi industry has touched Rs 1.15 lakh crores, which is a record. Today Khadi products come under the 'Fast moving consumer goods' (FMCG).
Under the leadership and guidance of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the politics of casteism, nepotism, communalism, appeasement and dynasty politics has been shattered. Today the politics of development, growth, progress and prosperity has been established in the country. We don't have to fall in the trap of opposition parties and we have to stick to politics of development and growth. Under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji we have to include people of all sections of our society in the party, particularly the youth and women.
The people of our country have made up their minds to support and bless the Bharatiya Janata Party and our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Be it the Vidhan Sabha elections, the bye elections or the local bodies elections, the people have repeatedly given its clear and decisive mandate to the Bharatiya Janata Party and the people are eager to support our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
