SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA WHILE ADDRESSING PUBLIC RALLIES IN SISWA (MAHARAJGANJ ) AND RAMKOLA (KUSHINAGAR) IN UTTAR PRADESH   

In the five phases of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh the people of the state have made it very clear that under the leadership and guidance of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party and Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath ji will come to power in the state.

In the next two phases also the people of Uttar Pradesh will shower their blessings and ensure the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in more than 300 seats in the state. The Bharatiya Janata Party will once again form the pro -poor and pro -people government in Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath ji.

This is not the new Samajwadi Party; it is the same old Samajwadi Party which had thrown Uttar Pradesh deep in crisis where terrorism, crime and corruption had become the order of the day. An example of it is that Shadab Ahmed, the father of main accused of the Ahmedabad bomb blasts Mohammad Saif, who lives in Sanjarpur, is a Samajwadi Party leader.

He is the same Akhilesh Yadav who as Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav withdrew 15 cases against dreaded terrorists related to serial bomb blasts and terror attacks in Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya and Varanasi besides the attack on the CRPF camp in Rampur. All these terrorists were responsible for the gruesome deaths of 500 innocent people and injuries of 2000 people.

Akhilesh Yadav after withdrawing cases from dreaded terrorists had said that he was doing it for social harmony. One one hand terrorists kill so many people and create havoc in the state and on the other hand Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav withdraws cases in the name of social harmony. What kind of policy of appeasement is this of Akhilesh Yadav?

This is the same Akhilesh Yadav under whose Chief Ministership the people of Uttar Pradesh had to face the tragedy of Muzaffarnagar riots and Kairana migration. While the people of Uttar Pradesh were suffering due to migration and riots, Akhilesh Yadav was busy treating and patronizing those responsible for the riots. He cheated the people of Uttar Pradesh. This is the real character of Akhilesh Yadav.

The people of Uttar Pradesh have decided that they will not allow such a person to come to power who patronises and defends terrorists, who sides with those responsible for riots and who promotes and gives free hand to mafias, criminals and anti social elements.

In the Akhilesh Yadav government mafias like Azam Khan, Atiq Ahmed and Azam Khan used to rule and roam around freely while poor and people of weaker sections were tortured. But under the Yogi Adityanath Government all such anti- social and criminal elements are either behind the bars or have fled the state as rule of law today prevails in Uttar Pradesh. Under Akhilesh Yadav it was goonda raj and mafia raj, but under Shri Yogi Adityanath ji in UP there is neither goonda raj nor mafia raj. There is rule of law in Uttar Pradesh today under the Bharatiya Janata Party government.

Once our government is formed again under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath ji, all farmers of Uttar Pradesh will get free electricity for irrigation purposes. Our government will also ensure full payment of dues of sugarcane farmers within 14 days and if sugar mill owners don't pay on time they will have to pay interest to farmers.

Once our government is formed, we will also give one free cooking gas cylinders to every household on Diwali and Holi. All girl students who pass their 12 th standard will get free scooty, while all students taking admission in 12 th standard will get free laptops and tablets.

During the past five years the double engine government of Uttar Pradesh has constructed one medical college in each district. The number of medical colleges have gone up from 15 to 59 in the past five years. The Yogi Adityanath government has opened 10 new universities, while we have also opened 77 new colleges, 28 engineering colleges, 26 polytechnic colleges, 79 ITIs, 250 inter colleges and 771 Kasturba Gandhi colleges. Our government has also reconstructed and redeveloped 1.40 lakh colleges across Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh today has a wide network of expressways. The BJP government is making new highways and constructing metros in various cities across the state. In the past five years the double engine government of the BJP has constructed 5 expressways, 5 new international airports while construction of metro rail network  is going on in 10 cities.  Our government restarted the closed fertiliser factory in Gorakhpur which was shut in 1990 and we have also increased its production capacity four times. This is the kind of work that the BJP government has done in Uttar Pradesh.
