SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI J.P. NADDA JI GIVEN TODAY WHILE ADDRESSING A MASSIVE PUBLIC RALLY IN AGARTALA, TRIPURA ORGANISED ON THE OCCASION OF THE CULMINATION OF THE STATEWIDE JAN VISHWAS YATRA ORGANIZED BY THE BJP

 

Under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the Bharatiya Janata Party is moving ahead to fulfill the mission of 'Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura, Unnat Tripura and Sushashit Tripura'. The people of Tripura have already decided that 'once BJP, always BJP'.

Manik is our Chief Minister in Tripura and HIRA is the way towards Tripura's connectivity and development. HIRA means H for Highway, I for Internet, R for Railways and A for Airways.

During the Congress party and Communist party rules Tripura was a deprived state. But now under the leadership and guidance of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party has taken Tripura towards a prospective, happy and developed Tripura.

During the rule of the Congress party and the Communist party in Tripura corruption, commission, 'tolabazi' and political killings were at its peak. But now under the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party corruption has been eradicated and there a complete end to political killings. The Bharatiya Janata Party government has taken Tripura towards fast highway of growth, progress, development and prosperity.

During the Communist rule, the people of Tripura just used to get wheat flour , rice, kerosene and salt under the PDS, whereas under the Bharatiya Janata Party government the people are also getting sugar, masoor dal, tea and soyabean apart from other things which they used to get. Our government will soon start getting mustard oil and spices.

During the Jan Vishwas Yatra in 8 days 200 public meetings, 100 padyatras and 50 roadshows were organised. The Yatra covered all the 60 state assembly constituencies in 8 districts where it got overwhelming support.

In Tripura the government of the Communist party means rapes, bandh, strikes, levy from employees, political killings and vendetta. Whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party government means connectivity, internet, hospitals and corruption -free and development oriented government.

During the Communist party rule in Tripura MNREGA meant corruption and nepotism. The Bharatiya Janata Party government changed this culture of corruption and today the money directly goes into the bank accounts of beneficiaries. The condition of tea garden workers under the Congress party and Communist party government was pathetic, but the Bharatiya Janata Party government is taking good care of them and has started various schemes and programmes for the tea garden workers in the state.

Neither the Congress party government nor the Communist party government in Tripura had the courage to tell about their work. Because they had nothing to showcase except for corruption, commission, scams and scandals, and new ways of corruption and scams. Today the Congress party and Communist party leaders have nothing to do, so they can give tusion in corruption, scams and scandals.

Let the Congress party and the Communist party leaders rest and let our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the Bharatiya Janata Party government continue to work for the growth, development and progress of the state and the country. The people of Tripura knows that the Bharatiya Janata Party does not run after power but it considers power as the mean to serve the people and to change the face and fortune of Tripura and the people of the state.

Despite the Corona pandemic and the Russia- Ukraine conflict our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji made India the fifth largest economy in the world by pipping Britain. In 2014 there were just 340 kms of optical fibre laid in the country which under the Bharatiya Janata Party government has gone up to 2.80 lakh kms.

In Tripura more than 4700 kms long roads have been constructed under the Pradhanmantri Gramin Sadak Yojna. Our government has also doubled the scholarship amount for students of Tripura. Earlier only a few articles were covered under the MSP scheme, but today MSP is being given to around 90 products thus helping our Tribal communities in earning their livelihoods.

In the Tribal areas of Tripura around 50,000 rice procurement centres have been opened. Over 9 lakh Tribal population has been given jobs. The birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda ji is now being celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas across the country. In the honour and memory of our great Tribal freedom fighters and icons 10 national museums are being constructed across the country.
