Salient points of speech of Hon'ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing a public meeting in Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram
● Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is consistently working for the development and growth of Kerala, but the LDF and UDF are doing petty politics in the state which is severely hurting the interests of the people of the state.
● The people of Kerala are peace loving and highly patriotic. But the holy land of Kerala has been drenched in the blood of innocent people. Ideological challenges are being replied by violence and killings. This is highly unfortunate and sad, and it is also badly affecting the growth, development, progress and prosperity of the state.
● The petty politics of LDF and UDF is affecting the growth and development of Kerala. Time has come to throw out those of power who suppress politics of ideology with violence by misusing power. The hard working and intelligent people of Kerala should support and stand with those who are working to take the state forward.
● Just three days ago a photo session of the leaders of the so called Mahagathbandhan took place in Patna. These leaders should do good work, I congratulate them for this. But the irony is that in Kerala the Congress party and the Communist Party are fighting against each other in Kerala, but in Patna they are sitting together and talking about the so-called Mahagathbandhan. What kind of ideology is this? What kind of politics is this?
● If you want to save dynasty politics then vote for family run parties like the Congress party, RJD, Samajwadi Party,nDMK, TMC, Shiv Sena - Uddhav, BRS etc. But if you want to make India a superpower then please vote for our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
● Kerala is now in a serious debt trap. But the Communist Party government is just doing politics. The Left Front government is doing nothing for the growth and development of Kerala and has totally neglected welfare of the people of the state.
● Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji recently gave Kerala various development projects worth over Rs 3200 crores. Kerala also got the gift of Vande Bharata train from the Narendra Modi Government. The Kochi water metro was also started. The foundation stone of the National Centre for Disease Control was also laid in Kerala.
● This year the Narendra Modi Government has so far spent over Rs 19,800 crores for the development of National Highways in the state. Similarly, Kanyakumari Economic Corridor worth over Rs 1,767 crores is also coming up in the state. The Narendra Modi Government is working on 23 major development projects in Kerala on which around Rs 50,000 crores is being spent.
● The Narendra Modi Government has made Digital Science Park in Thiruvananthapuram, while the work on the second phase of the Kochi Metro has already started. National Highway No. 66 is being converted from four lanes to six lanes. In Kerala 1266 kms long roads have been constructed. Similarly, the foundation stone of IIT Palakkad has also been laid by the Narendra Modi Government.
● The Congress party leaders are making baseless allegations that there is inflation in the country. The fact is that these leaders do not read and have a serious dearth of knowledge and wisdom. Despite the Russia-Ukraine war and disruption in supply chain due to the Corona pandemic, India's rate of inflation is far less than compared to big countries. All this has happened due to effective policies and its implementation by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
● Morgan Stanley has stated that the entire world's hope lies in India. India's economy is the strongest and robust in the world today. Also, India's economy is today the world's fastest growing economy in the world.
● Today India is giving strength and support to some of the leading economies in the world including the US, Britain and France. Nine years back Indian economy was at number 10 position in the world , but today under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji our country has become the fifth largest economy in the world. And very soon India will be the third economic superpower in the world.
● Due to the pro poor and highly effective social welfare schemes India's poverty rate has fallen from 22 per cent to less than 10 percent, while the extreme poverty rate has remained under one per cent. This is a major achievement which even the top global organisations have acknowledged.
