Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a public gathering in Salem, Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, urging the people of the state to ensure a decisive victory for the NDA. Hon’ble PM emphasized the importance of NDA securing over 400 seats for the development of Tamil Nadu and the nation. PMK President Shri A Ramdas was also present at the event. Earlier, PM Shri Narendra Modi conducted a roadshow in Palakkad, Kerala before arriving in Salem, where thousands of enthusiastic supporters greeted him with flowers, garlands, party flags and chants of 'Modi-Modi' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

·      Seeing the support BJP is garnering in Tamil Nadu, the INDI alliance is perturbed. The nation witnesses the immense love BJP receives in the state. I've had the honor of visiting Tamil Nadu multiple times last week, witnessing the overwhelming support. The country notices Tamil Nadu's determination for 'Abki Baar, 400 Paar'.

 

·      Yesterday, I witnessed firsthand the immense support for BJP and Modi in Coimbatore. The overwhelming blessings for NDA and Modi have unsettled the DMK government. The INDI alliance is troubled due to the love Tamil Nadu has shown to the BJP. Now, Tamil Nadu has decided to vote for BJP and NDA on April 19, infusing new vigor into NDA's mission to develop Tamil Nadu.

 

·      I have visited Salem several times before, and today, as I return, old memories are revived once again. 40-45 years ago, when I went on the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, a young man Rattavel from Salem was in my group. He used to try to teach me Tamil. From him, I got to know a lot about Salem, about Tamil Nadu. Since then, there has been an attraction towards Salem in my mind. After returning from Kailash Manasarovar, Rattavel started a restaurant here but unfortunately, he passed away.

 

·      There was a lot of affection here in Salem with K.N. Lakshmanan as well. He played a significant role in the expansion of BJP in Tamil Nadu. He had a great struggle during the Emergency. He also started many schools. Lakshmanan's role in the anti-Emergency movement and his participation in social-cultural activities will always be remembered. His contribution to the expansion of BJP in the state is remarkable.

 

·      Today, when I come to Salem, it's quite natural to reminisce about Auditor Ramesh. Unfortunately, Ramesh is no longer among us. (Upon mentioning Ramesh's name, the honorable Prime Minister became emotional.) Today, I pay my tribute to him. Ramesh was a dedicated leader of our party, a great orator and a very hardworking individual.

 

·      The election campaign has just begun, but the ill-intentions and plans of the INDI alliance have already been revealed in their first rally. Congress and DMK repeatedly insult Hinduism, but they don't have the courage to speak about any other religion.

 

·      Their every statement against the Hindu religion is carefully calculated. The INDI alliance of DMK and Congress does not criticize any other religion, not a single word comes out of their mouths against any other religion. However, when it comes to insulting the Hindu religion, they waste no time.

 

·      In Mumbai's Shivaji Park, the INDI alliance has openly declared that they want to destroy the ‘Shakti’ of faith in Hinduism. Every person in Tamil Nadu knows what ‘Shakti’ means in Hinduism. To defeat such dangerous ideas, Tamil Nadu will lead the way on April 19th.

 

·      The leaders of the INDI alliance intentionally and repeatedly insult the Hindu religion. Each of their statements against Hinduism is calculated. They objected to the establishment of Sengol, a significant symbol of Tamil culture, in Parliament. Since Sengol is connected with local monasteries, their deliberate insult extends to it as well. Modi stands as a shield in front of every challenge faced by the women of our nation.

 

·      The concept of 'Shakti' is linked to several goddesses in the region, including Mariamman, Madurai Meenakshi Amman, and Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple. Subramania Bharati ji, a renowned poet, hailed Bharat Mata as the embodiment of 'Shakti'. The people of Tamil Nadu will penalize those advocating the destruction of 'Shakti'. I am a devotee of 'Shakti'. Scriptures affirm that those plotting the destruction of 'Shakti' ultimately face their own downfall.

 

·      DMK and Congress are two sides of the same coin. DMK and Congress mean - big corruption! DMK and Congress mean - One Family Rule!

 

·      In Tamil Nadu, DMK has its own unique 5G network. DMK's 5G means - the dominance of the fifth generation of the same family over Tamil Nadu! This 5G Family tarnished the image of India and Tamil Nadu worldwide by committing the 2G scam.
