Salient Points of speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while addressing public rallies in Nanded and Parbhani, Maharashtra

During the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, there was a widespread one-sided voting trend in favor of BJP-NDA throughout the country. NDA is going to register a historic victory for the alliance on 4th June.

*************

In the first phase, voters have outright rejected the Indi Alliance. Despite any claims made, the reality stands that Congress leaders have conceded defeat even prior to the announcement of elections.

*************

INDI Alliance leaders, who were contesting the Lok Sabha elections, have now secured seats in the Rajya Sabha, indicating a lack of courage to participate in direct electoral contests.

*************

The situation has reached a point where the Indi Alliance is struggling to find candidates to contest in the election. Their leaders are refraining from campaigning in many constituencies.

*************

The constituent parties of the INDI alliance are contesting against each other on 25 percent of the Lok Sabha constituency seats. They are blaming each other and talking about putting them in jail.

*************

INDI alliance parties and leaders don't trust each other. Can we trust such parties and people of INDI alliance?

*************

Congress has consistently acted as a barrier to the progress of the poor, Dalits, deprived, laborers and farmers. Even now, whenever the NDA government initiates welfare measures for the poor, Congress ridicules these efforts.

*************

Modi's guarantee is to address every wound inflicted by Congress.

*************

Our government had the honor of commemorating the 550th Prakash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the 400th Prakash Purb of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, and the 350th Prakash Purb of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Following the completion of the Kartarpur Corridor, lakhs of devotees are now facilitated in their pilgrimage to the sacred site.

*************

NDA government has demonstrated unwavering commitment and support for the development of every Sikh pilgrimage associated with the Sikh tradition. Whether it's making langar tax-free, obtaining FCRA permission for Harminder Sahib, or enhancing infrastructure for pilgrimages like Darbar of Huzoor Sahib and Hemkund Sahib, the government has worked diligently with dedication and devotion.

*************

It is the BJP that brought the CAA for the victims of partition. If there were no CAA, what would have happened to our Sikh brothers and sisters who have come from Afghanistan? What is their crime?

*************

Congress is also opposing CAA. It seems that Congress is still taking revenge of '84' from the Sikhs.

*************

This election is not just the Lok Sabha election, but this election is to make India “Viksit Bharat” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.

*************

2024 Lok Sabha Elections is an election to make India the world's third-largest economy. Therefore, the issues of these elections are not ordinary, every issue is important, every step is important, and every resolution is important.

*************

After 2019, the discussion about terrorists coming from the border stopped, and instead, surgical strikes started being discussed. The surgical strike made every citizen of India proud, and the world came to know that it was Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who took action by entering the house.

*************

Baba Saheb's Constitution was not allowed to be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir, and the Dalits there were deprived of their rightful reservation rights.

*************

In Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government ran in such a way that it hardly felt like the rule of the Nizam had ended.

*************

Maha Aghadi did not prioritize the development of Maharashtra; instead, Congress and Shiv Sena (UBT) were preoccupied with beautifying the grave of terrorist Yakub Memon.

*************

People who mock the sadhus of Palghar do not deserve a place in Maharashtra or anywhere else.

*************

Even after independence, the Congress government was carrying the marks of British rule. The country's naval flag had the British emblem on it. We removed it and gave a new identity to the Navy by putting the symbol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the Naval flag.

*************

Congress' 'Shehzada' is in danger of losing in Wayanad. Just like in Amethi, it seems likely that they will have to concede defeat in Wayanad as well.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed two mega public rallies in Nanded and Parbhani in Maharashtra on Saturday and appealed to the voters to vote in maximum numbers and ensure the victory of the NDA government. During this event, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, state BJP President Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Union Minister Shri Ramdas Athawale, NDA candidates from Nanded Shri Prataprao Patil Chikhalikar and from Hingoli Shri Baburao Kadam Kohalikar, Parbhani Shri Mahadev Jankar and other leaders were present.

Hon’ble Prime Minister acknowledged the conclusion of the first phase of the elections and expressed gratitude to everyone who voted, especially the first-time voters. He highlighted the one-sided support for the NDA evident from booth analysis. He added that everywhere there is one slogan ‘Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar’.  PM Shri Modi appealed to those who did not vote, urging them to exercise their voting rights freely. Despite obstacles like weather conditions and personal chores, he emphasized the importance of voting, drawing inspiration from the dedication of soldiers serving the nation. Shri Narendra Modi encouraged all political leaders to work diligently, even in the face of potential defeat and urged the opposition party Karyakartas to motivate voters to cast their ballots.

Shri Modi highlighted the significant voter turnout in the Indian General Election, showcasing the strength of Indian democracy on the global stage. He emphasized that the next 25 years are crucial for India's development, underscoring the importance of high voter participation. Shri Modi pointed out how leaders of the INDI Alliance came together to protect themselves from corruption allegations. Earlier predictions indicated that voters have outright rejected the INDI Alliance. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi highlighted the lack of clarity within the INDI Alliance regarding their leadership choices, which has made voters skeptical about supporting them. He emphasized that despite claims made by certain parties, the truth remains evident. Shri Modi pointed out that even before the elections were announced, leaders from the Congress had already conceded to their impending defeat. This was evident from the fact that some leaders, who had consistently won Lok Sabha elections in the past, this time secured seats through the Rajya Sabha and remained seated inside.

Hon’ble Prime Minister underscored the internal discord within the INDI Alliance, noting that their leaders were contesting against each other. He highlighted that in 25% of Lok Sabha seats, the so-called INDI Alliance leaders were facing competition from within their own coalition. The leaders were leveling allegations against each other and even discussing the possibility of each other's arrest.

Shri Modi noted that in 2014, newspapers and television channels were often filled with reports of terrorist attacks and the martyrdom of our brave soldiers. However, by 2019, discussions about terrorist attacks had ceased, and instead, the focus shifted to surgical strikes. The phrase "Modi ghar mein ghus ke marta hai" became prominent, signifying India's proactive stance against terrorism under his leadership.

Hon’ble Prime Minister questioned how voters could trust them if they couldn't trust their own alliance partners. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi pointed out that the Congress ‘Shehzada’ is facing challenges even in Wayanad. Shri Modi mentioned that the ‘Shehzada’ and his gang are waiting to cast their votes in Wayanad on April 26. Once the voting is completed there, they are expected to declare another safe seat for the ‘Shehzada’. Shri Narendra Modi mentioned that yesterday, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan criticized Shehzada in such a manner that even he didn't use such words for him. First, he left the Amethi seat, and soon he left the Wayanad seat. Shri Narendra Modi stated that after independence, for the first time, the ‘Congress ka Parivaar’ will not vote for Congress, because, where they reside, there is no candidate from their own party.

Shri Modi emphasized that the Congress consistently obstructs the progress of the poor, Dalits, marginalized, exploited, laborers, and farmers. He noted that even now, whenever the NDA undertakes initiatives for the welfare of the underprivileged, Congress ridicules them. For the first time in six decades of independence, the BJP prioritized the construction of toilets, showing respect to millions of underprivileged women. However, the Congress continued to mock this initiative. Over 50 crore bank accounts were opened for the poor, and technologies like Digital India and UPI have simplified transactions nationwide. Despite these advancements, a Congress leader (P Chidambaram) dismissively claimed that poor people wouldn't grasp digital transactions. Shri Modi stated that the country has just witnessed the success of Chandrayaan. After this election, 140 crore countrymen will also witness the success of Gaganyaan.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that a party with narrow-minded thinking and distrust in the people cannot be relied upon for the country's development. Such a party is unlikely to address the issues facing Maharashtra and Marathwada effectively. For decades, the Congress has hindered the development of Maharashtra, particularly in Vidarbha and Marathwada. Their approach has led to impoverishment among farmers, lost industrial opportunities, and forced migration of lakhs of youth from the region. The drought and water crisis plaguing this region didn't happen overnight. It's been exacerbated by years of neglect, where farmers have suffered, industries have faltered, and countless youths have been forced to migrate due to Congress's indifference. However, the NDA government is resolute in its dedication to pulling Maharashtra and Marathwada out of this dire situation.

Shri Modi highlighted the collaborative efforts of Shri Eknath Shinde, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, and Shri Ajit Pawar in prioritizing the welfare of farmers.  The Upper Penganga project is underway to address irrigation challenges, and more farmers are receiving claims exceeding their insurance premiums under the Crop Insurance Scheme. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers in Nanded have received a substantial sum exceeding ₹1300 crore, while in Parbhani, farmers have been allocated a total of ₹850 crore. This region, primarily cultivating jowar and millet, has been empowered by the BJP government, which has bestowed these coarse grains with a distinguished status throughout the nation. Today, coarse grains are revered as "Shri Anna," not just in India but also recognized with esteem worldwide. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reiterated his commitment to healing every wound inflicted by Congress, stating that it is a "Modi ki guarantee." Our government remains steadfast in its commitment to farmer welfare in Maharashtra. The textile park in Amravati has significantly benefited cotton producers in the region, contributing to their prosperity and economic growth.

Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted that, in Nanded, over 80% of households and in Parbhani 75% of households now have access to tap water. Today, over 12 lakh poor individuals in Parbhani receive free ration without discrimination. This vital support will persist over the next five years. 17 Janaushadhi centers in Parbhani provide medicines at an 80% discount, benefiting the entire community. Moreover, over 1.25 lakh women have received Ujjwala gas connections without bias. This region has witnessed remarkable infrastructural development, including the inauguration of the Shaktipeeth Expressway and the construction of world-class roads like the Samriddhi Mahamarg. Moreover, milestones such as the inauguration of the Latur Railway Rail Coach Factory and the revival of the Nanded Airport under the UDAN scheme. Furthermore, thousands of underprivileged individuals have been provided housing through the PM Awas Yojana. In Parbhani alone, 40,000 impoverished citizens received housing without discrimination. Additionally, over 3 lakh people have accessed free healthcare services under Ayushman Bharat, demonstrating the government's commitment to ensuring the welfare of all citizens. The BJP has unveiled its Sankalp Patra for the upcoming five years, which serves as Modi's Guarantee Card. We pledge to construct 3 crore new houses for the Poor. Additionally, we assure that individuals aged 70 and above will receive benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Shri Modi emphasized that the development accomplished in the past decade is just a trailer. Much of the NDA's tenure has been dedicated to filling the deep pits dug by Congress. Looking ahead, the focus is on propelling Marathwada and Maharashtra to even greater heights in the next five years. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi expressed reverence for the sacred land of Nanded, sanctified by the presence of Sikh Gurus. The tradition of Khalsa Gurupanth and the profound teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji have continually inspired the BJP government. Over the past decade, the BJP has tirelessly pursued the path of Sarbat Da Bhala, working steadfastly for the welfare of all. The BJP government had the honor of commemorating the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, and the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh. The NDA government has wholeheartedly dedicated itself to the development of every sacred pilgrimage site within the Sikh tradition. A notable achievement was the secure and dignified transportation of the sacred texts of Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan to India.

Hon'ble Prime Minister reiterated that the BJP government delivers on its promises. When Modi gives his guarantee, it means that the commitment will be fulfilled. The pledge to revoke Article 370 and put an end to triple talaq has now become a reality. He stated that the Congress bears responsibility for several significant issues in Indian history. They mishandled the Kashmir issue, hindering the full implementation of the Constitution by exploiting Article 370. Congress has historically marginalized Dalits, depriving them of their rights.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that he made a commitment to elevate the nation's economy from its challenges. Today, India stands as the world's fifth-largest economy, a testament to his unwavering dedication and effective leadership. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has reiterated his commitment to propel India to become the world's third-largest economy. PM Shri Modi stated that today, with the completion of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a cherished milestone has been achieved. However, it is disheartening to witness individuals within the INDI alliance denigrate Sanatan principles and attempt to undermine the sanctity of the Ram Mandir. PM Shri Narendra Modi stated that those who insult the faith of the Hindu religion by labeling the worship at the Ram Mandir as hypocrisy deserve condemnation. Disrespecting religious sentiments in such a manner is deeply hurtful and unacceptable. Shri Modi emphasized caution regarding the Congress and the INDI Alliance, likening Congress to a vine with neither roots nor land. Supporting it leads to desiccation, highlighting the potential detriment associated with aligning with these entities. During the tenure of the INDI alliance government in Maharashtra, the atmosphere seemed reminiscent of the Nizam era, with the lingering influence of the Razakars mentality. Meanwhile, the previous Congress and fake Shiv Sena administration were preoccupied with tending to Yakub Memon's grave.

Shri Modi highlighted that Marathwada stands as the security shield of India, drawing upon its rich history of bravery and resilience. Through the challenges posed by various invasions, including those by the Mughals and the British, the courage of the Marathas has consistently demonstrated India's enduring strength. Today, Maharashtra is called upon once more to lead the charge toward ‘Viksit Bharat’.  Shri Modi emphasized, "Your dreams are my resolutions!" The government's commitment lies in service, translating aspirations into tangible results. Marathwada stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication and hard work, showcasing the transformative impact of our endeavors. Hon'ble Prime Minister has urged everyone to support and ensure the victory of Nanded Lok Sabha candidate Prataprao Patil Chikhalikar and Hingoli Lok Sabha candidate Shri Baburao Kohalikar with record-breaking votes. This support is crucial for the development and progress of Marathwada.
