Salient Points of speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while addressing public rallies in Solapur and Satara, Maharashtra

In this Lok Sabha election, you will choose the 'Guarantee of development' for the next 5 years. On the other hand, there is Congress and the INDI Alliance, who prior to 2014, led the country into a pit of corruption, terrorism, and misgovernance

*****************

On one side, there's Shri Narendra Modi, whom you've experienced for 10 years. On the other hand, there's a fierce battle over leadership within the INDI Aghadi. Now, these individuals have come up with the idea of 5 years, 5 PMs. Despite its tainted past, the Congress is harboring dreams of regaining power in the country

*****************

Congress and the INDI Alliance are resorting to falsehoods regarding OBC representation. These leaders have grown frustrated after being exposed and are now resorting to making derogatory statements against Modi in their election speeches

*****************

During the 60 years of Congress rule, many SC/ST/OBC families in the country were forced to live in dire conditions. PM Shri Narendra Modi prioritized these families and protected their rights and granted constitutional status to the OBC Commission

*****************

Congress declared over 100 districts of the country as backward and left them to fend for themselves, affecting many SC/ST families residing in these districts. We ran the Akanshi Jila Programme. The result is that out of the 25-crore people who have come out of poverty, a large number are in these districts

*****************

I have consistently utilized social media as a platform to engage with the public and understand their aspirations. However, those who cannot engage with the BJP on the grounds of issues, truth, and accomplishments are resorting to misleading the public through the use of deepfakes

*****************

It is the responsibility of every citizen to protect society from these fake videos. For the sake of democracy, happiness, peace, and national unity, citizens should report such deceptive videos to the authorities so that appropriate action can be taken against those responsible for this evil act

*****************

The path to achieving social justice involves the creation of modern infrastructure. For decades, the Congress party fostered a gap between rural and urban areas, prioritizing the development of only select cities. The NDA government, however, is dedicated to advancing every region of the nation

*****************

For many years, the naval flag of independent India bore the British symbol, despite the world's recognition of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's navy. However, under the NDA government, the emblem of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has replaced the English symbol on the flag of our Navy

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed public meetings in Solapur and Satara, Maharashtra on Monday. During the event Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Shri Ram Das Athawale, Solapur candidate Shri Ram Satpute and Satara Lok Sabha candidate Chhatrapati Shri Udayan Raje Bhosale and other leaders were present on the stage.

Shri Modi expressed his reverence for Shri Siddheshwacharya, acknowledging the fervor inspired by Lord Vitthal, Jagadguru Basaveshwara, and the valor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj echoing throughout the land. This fervent spirit proclaims, 'Fir ek Baar Modi Sarkar'. In 2024, he is visiting Solapur for the second time. When he came in January, he came with something, to fulfill everyone's rights, seeking your support today, seeking your blessings. In this election, the public will choose the guarantee of development for the next five years. On the other hand, there are those who pushed the country into corruption, terrorism, and misgovernance before 2014. Even after their tainted history, Congress dreams of usurping power, unaware that the INDI alliance and Maha Vikas Agadhi's dice have already been cast in the first few phases of the elections.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that i humbly approach the people as a servant. The people have scrutinized Modi for ten years, seen each step, measured each word, and the public knows Modi well. On the other side, in INDI alliance and Maha Vikas Agadhi a great battle is raging under the guise of a leader's name. Can such a big country be handed over to someone whose name and face are unknown? These days, they are dividing the country to usurp power, and now the opposition has brought a new formula, '5 Prime Ministers in 5 years,' every year a new Prime Minister, each year the nation will be looted.

Shri Modi highlighted that 'Nakli ShivSena' is claiming to have many people in their party aspiring for the Prime Minister's post, and one of their leaders said if we make four Prime Ministers in a year, what's the harm? Let the public decide if a country as large as India can be run by five Prime Ministers in five years. But for the opposition, this is the only path left to usurp power because they don't want to govern the country, they don't care about the future of the people, the opposition leaders are only interested in enriching themselves.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that Maharashtra is the land of social justice, this land has given birth to such great souls as Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, who empowered and inspired the weakest sections of society. The public has seen Congress' 60 years of rule and Modi's ten years of service. In the last decade, as much work has been done for social justice as never before in the history of independence.

Shri Modi stated that over their 60 years in power, Congress consistently tried to hinder the rights of SC, ST and OBC communities, aiming to keep them dependent so they could manipulate their votes whenever needed. However, Modi emphasized his deep connection with the people and how, in the past ten years, his government has prioritized social justice. He recounted his experiences in Ahmedabad, where many from the Padmashali community, a group he holds close, have supported him. Modi acknowledged the debt he owes to them and highlighted his ongoing commitment to serving the underprivileged.

Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted BJP's efforts towards ensuring social justice, such as granting constitutional status to the OBC Commission and implementing OBC reservations in medical exams. He emphasized BJP's policy of revisiting political reservations for SC and ST communities every ten years, following the precedents set by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and himself. Modi underscored BJP's commitment to upholding the rights of all communities, ensuring that no one's rights, whether Dalits, Adivasis, or OBCs, are compromised. He mentioned the introduction of a 10% reservation for economically weaker sections, emphasizing that it did not create division but rather aimed to foster inclusivity and social justice.

Shri Modi clarified that BJP's approach to social justice is not about creating division but rather fostering inclusivity and unity. He highlighted the positive reception of their policies by Dalit leaders and stressed the importance of integrating society rather than dividing it.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that today, the BJP government has made revolutionary decisions in the field of medical and engineering education. While the opposition may find this plan amusing, Modi has decided that even children from poor families should have the opportunity to become doctors or engineers and hold other high positions. Questioning whether every child can study in English medium schools, as those who studied in Marathi or state board schools often faced barriers in the future according to the opposition's perspective. Modi emphasized social justice by asserting that one can become a doctor or engineer in Marathi language without the need for English proficiency.

Shri Modi highlighted the Congress party's historical reluctance to let Dalit, Adivasi and OBC leaders lead the country. He criticized Congress for disrespecting leaders like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram. PM Shri Modi noted that Babasaheb was awarded the Bharat Ratna when the Congress-opposed government, supported by BJP, was in power. BJP's efforts have been to ensure greater representation for SC, ST and OBC communities. He pointed out that in 2014, NDA appointed a Dalit as the President of India after receiving massive public support and in 2019, for the first time in history, an Adivasi woman was honored as the President of India.

Hon’ble Prime Minister expressed pride in the fact that after independence, for the first time, there is significant representation of SC, ST, OBC in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, with many being elected from BJP. 60% of the members in the Union Cabinet are from these communities, indicating the nation's progress towards greater inclusivity and empowerment.

Shri Modi remarked that Congress, INDI alliance and Maha Vikas Aghadi are resorting to falsehoods regarding OBC representation. Their exposure has left them frustrated, resorting only to abusive rhetoric against Modi in their election speeches. They lack vision, whereas BJP possesses both vision and dedication to serve the people. For decades, Congress has betrayed the SC, ST and OBC communities. Congress and its allies are so desperate that they are now spreading lies about BJP ending reservation and amending the constitution. Even Babasaheb Ambedkar himself couldn't change the constitution today. Despite having a majority in the last 5 years, BJP never considered such actions. I am committed to providing as much support to reservation as possible.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that, I'm asking for more seats to prevent Congress, INDI, and Maha Vikas Aghadi from conspiring to deprive SC, ST and OBC communities of their reservation and granting it to a special group. I need power to thwart any such conspiracy against you. Congress has already done this in Karnataka. I'm here to seek your blessings to strengthen Modi. During the 60 years of Congress rule, the condition of SC/ST/OBC families was the worst. They lived in trouble, in pain. Modi made them his priority. All the schemes for poor welfare that we have implemented in the last 10 years are for everyone. The marginalized community is finally reaping the benefits after being deprived for the past 50 years. Those who have been at the back of the line for decades rightfully deserve access to resources, as advocated by Mahatma Gandhi. Free ration, healthcare, pucca houses, toilets, electricity, gas and water are all essential needs of the marginalized community and after years of independence, their needs are finally being fulfilled.

Shri Modi highlighted that the BJP government has reached every home and village across the nation. Unlike Congress, which declared over 100 districts as backward and neglected them, we transformed them into Aspirational Districts. Numerous new schemes were initiated in these areas. Remarkably, within a short span, 25 crore poor individuals have been uplifted out of poverty, with a significant portion hailing from these districts. "Jab niyat sahi hoti hai toh nateeje bhi sahi milte hain.'' The border villages were once labeled as the last villages, but I rechristened them as the first villages. We initiated the Vibrant Village program dedicated to their development. Unlike Congress, solely fixated on vote bank politics, we implemented the PM Janman Yojana, allocating a substantial budget of 24,000 crores. Furthermore, we devised comprehensive plans for the most backward tribes and diligently worked towards their progress. The BJP introduced the Vishwakarma Yojna to empower those with untapped potential in their hands, benefiting lakhs of such individuals. Unlike Congress, which overlooked these people, Modi launched the PM Vishwakarma Yojna, amounting to ₹13 thousand crore. These welfare schemes have predominantly benefited women from SC, ST, and OBC communities. Previously, due to the lack of sanitary pads and toilets, girls were forced to leave schools, but Modi resolved this issue. Furthermore, the beneficiaries of Mudra loans without collateral are primarily from SC, ST and OBC backgrounds.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that the 21st century is defined by technology, and I have been a staunch advocate of its use. I have consistently utilized social media platforms to connect with the public and understand their aspirations. However, recent incidents have deeply troubled and embarrassed democracy enthusiasts like myself. Those who cannot engage in honest politics with the BJP based on issues, truth, and accomplishments are now resorting to deceptive tactics, particularly through the use of deepfake technology. These individuals seek to manipulate public opinion by spreading false information in the voices of top BJP leaders.

Shri Modi highlighted that there's a conspiracy to stoke societal tensions through misleading news and videos. However, these efforts will fail in the face of peaceful elections unless something significant is planned within the country in the next month. For the sake of democracy, happiness, peace, and unity, I urge the public to promptly report fake videos to the police to hold the perpetrators accountable. Every citizen has a responsibility to safeguard society against the harmful effects of such misinformation. I appeal to the Election Commission to take stringent action against those involved in disseminating fake videos. The BJP government is committed to upholding truth and integrity.

Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted that during Congress rule, the healthcare system of the country had collapsed. However, under the BJP government's leadership, significant improvements have been made, including the establishment of over 20 AIIMS and numerous medical colleges, resulting in an increase of more than 50 thousand medical seats. Over 400 health centers have been established nationwide, and medicines are available at an 80 percent discount at Jan Aushadhi centers. Furthermore, 55 crore citizens are benefiting from the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, with plans to extend coverage to individuals above 70 years of age. BJP government has also implemented various welfare measures, such as providing free ration to 80 crore people through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. However, the Congress government's refusal to distribute grains stored in warehouses to the poor reflects their insensitivity. Congress is driven by appeasement politics, aims to exploit public property, divide vote banks, and disregard the welfare of the people. Modi government has prioritized women's empowerment by providing houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in their names, facilitating direct benefits through Jan Dhan accounts, and promoting women as drone pilots. The BJP government has pledged to make three crore more ‘Lakhpati Didi’. The Modi government has established a separate Ministry of Cooperation and significantly increased the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) of sugarcane, setting a new record.

Shri Modi stated that the joy among military families in Military Apshinge village and Satara as India's forces achieve self-reliance. Presently, our armed forces possess numerous weapons made in India, marking a significant milestone. While the Congress government was favored by arms brokers whose businesses faced closure under Modi's initiatives, they remain unlikely to acknowledge Modi's efforts.

Respected Prime Minister ensured the fulfillment of the 'One Rank One Pension' guarantee for military families, bringing immense relief. Contrastingly, Congress neglected this vital aspect for 40 years, offering mere promises backed by a nominal budget of Rs 500 crore. In stark contrast, the Bharatiya Janata Party allocated over Rs 1 lakh crore to ex-servicemen, underscoring its commitment to their welfare reflecting on India's post-independence journey. Congress's perpetuation of a colonial mentality. Despite India's independence in 1947, Congress allowed the persistence of a submissive mindset, hindering progress and development.

Shri Modi emphasized that Khadi symbolizes our freedom movement. I say, "Khadi for the nation, and now, Khadi for fashion." Modi has revived Khadi. Congress's decision to introduce Article 370 was an insult to the country's constitution. In contrast, the NDA government, under Modi's leadership, repealed Article 370, granting the people of Jammu and Kashmir the right to social justice. This underscores our commitment to social justice. The frustration of the entire INDI alliance and Maha Vikas Aghadi is evident. Another aspect of social justice is the creation of modern infrastructure. For years, Congress neglected rural areas, focusing solely on the development of a few cities, leading to a significant urban-rural gap. However, the NDA is committed to the holistic development of every region. In the past decade, significant investments have been made in enhancing railway connectivity, such as the Pandharpur railway connectivity project, which has seen substantial funding. Additionally, the Pune-Phaltan railway line, pending for 23 years, has been completed under the BJP government. Furthermore, Solapur has become the first city in Maharashtra to receive the Vande Bharat Express. The BJP government initiated the construction of numerous highways, including the Hyderabad-Solapur and Solapur-Sangli-Bijapur routes. Furthermore, efforts are underway to develop hi-tech roads like the Samriddhi Mahamarg in Solapur. As a result, a significant number of devotees are now visiting from other states as well. New opportunities in faith and tourism are being generated for the youth. The BJP government in Maharashtra is tirelessly working day and night for the welfare of the people.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji urged everyone to support the Solapur candidate Shri Ram Satpute and Satara Lok Sabha candidate Chhatrapati Shri Udayan Raje Bhosale and re-elect the Modi government, contributing to the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.
