Salient points of speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while addressing a public rally in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan

I extend heartfelt gratitude to the people of Tonk-Sawai Madhopur for their overwhelming support despite the scorching heat. I assure you that Modi remains committed to serving you tirelessly, 24/7

Today, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, I extend my best wishes to the entire nation. Few days ago, a shopkeeper in Karnataka was brutally beaten for simply listening to Hanuman Chalisa. This incident highlights how even the act of listening to Hanuman Chalisa becomes a crime under Congress rule

*********************

If the Congress had been in power post-2014, our forces in Jammu and Kashmir would still face the menace of stone pelting, the enemy would have come from across the border and beheaded our soldiers, and the Congress government would have remained inactive in addressing these challenges

*********************

If the Congress had been in power post-2014, initiatives like One Rank One Pension may not have seen implementation, and ex-servicemen wouldn't have received Rs 1 lakh crore. Moreover, the threat of serial blasts could have persisted across the country

*********************

If the Congress had been in power post-2014, the provision of free ration and vaccines during the pandemic might not have been realized, and the nation could have faced outcry due to inflationary pressures

*********************

Congress is deeply entangled in the swamp of vote bank politics to the extent that it disregards Baba Saheb's Constitution. The truth is that when Congress and the INDI alliance were in power, there was a push to breach the reservation allocated for Dalits and backward classes, intending to allocate it to their favored vote bank, while the Constitution is completely against it

*********************

The reservation rights granted by Baba Saheb to Dalits, backward classes, and tribals were sought to be extended to a special community by the Congress and the INDI Alliance based on religion

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a public rally in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan on Tuesday and criticized the Congress party and their INDI alliance for their nefarious intention to seize the assets and property of the people and distribute them. During the event, Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Shri Kirodi Lal Meena and Shri Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary, Tonk-Sawai Madhopur MP and Candidate Shri Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria and other leaders were present on the stage.

Hon’ble Prime Minister conveyed greetings to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi conveyed his appreciation for the remarkable enthusiasm observed today, recognizing its capacity to bolster India's strength. He remarked that the resounding chant of "Fir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar" resonating across the nation. PM Shri Modi stated that Rajasthan has stood as a guardian through the ages, much like a dedicated soldier. Recognizing the significance of national security and stable governance, Rajasthan has consistently lent its unwavering support. Whether in 2014 or 2019, Rajasthan unequivocally bestowed its blessings, delivering all 25 seats to the BJP. Unity stands as Rajasthan's greatest asset. History reminds us that whenever division has crept in, adversaries of the nation have seized the opportunity. Even today, there are concerted efforts to sow seeds of division in Rajasthan. It's imperative for Rajasthan to remain vigilant against such attempts.

Shri Modi underscored the profound influence of a stable and upright government, emphasizing the nation's remarkable journey of transformation over the past decade. India's position as the world's fastest-developing economy was highlighted, along with the uplifting of 25 crore individuals from below the poverty line during this period. Prime Minister Shri Modi graciously acknowledged the people's recognition of his role in this success, yet attributed it to the collective power of each citizen's vote, which enabled initiatives such as providing homes, free ration, and gas connections to crores of people.

Criticizing the Congress for failing to protect the country, Hon’ble Prime Minister underscored that since being entrusted with the responsibility of Prime Minister in 2014, unprecedented decisions have shaped our nation's trajectory. He contemplated the repercussions if a Congress government had been in power both post-2014 and presently. If the Congress were in power, today, our forces in Jammu and Kashmir would still be facing stone-pelting. Enemies would have come from across the border and taken away the heads of our soldiers even today. Furthermore, under a Congress-led government, initiatives like ‘One Rank One Pension’ for our soldiers and the allocation of Rs 1 lakh crore for our ex-servicemen would not have been realized. If the Congress had been in power, serial bomb blasts would likely continue to plague us today, claiming innocent lives. The party has been accused of shielding those involved in the Rajasthan bomb blast. Moreover, had the Congress been in power today, the distribution of free COVID vaccines would not have been a reality, and inflation would likely persist.

Shri Modi said that the people of Rajasthan were liberated from the grip of the Congress just a few months ago. The scars left by the Congress Party during its tenure in power remain vivid in the memory of the people of Rajasthan. The Congress administration had unfortunately propelled Rajasthan to the top spot in terms of atrocities against women. Shockingly, Congress representatives shamelessly asserted in the Assembly that such atrocities were emblematic of Rajasthan's identity. You are well aware of the anti-social elements responsible for the closure of industries in Tonk. However, people of Rajasthan entrusted Shri Bhajan Lal with the responsibility to serve. Since Shri Bhajan Lal and his team assumed office, Rajasthan has witnessed a significant crackdown on mafia and criminal activities, compelling them to flee the state.

Hon’ble Prime Minister said that an incident that occurred a few days ago in Congress-ruled Karnataka. He expressed concern over the assault of a small shopkeeper simply for listening to Hanuman Chalisa while at his shop. This incident underscores the alarming extent to which even the act of listening to Hanuman Chalisa is deemed unacceptable under Congress governance. The Congress publicly declined the invitation to the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla and vehemently opposed the construction of the temple. Rama Navami processions were resumed quietly after the Congress government exited Rajasthan, as the party had previously banned them. Moreover, Congress provided government protection to those who attacked these processions. The same party incited riots in Malpura, Karauli, Tonk, and Jodhpur for appeasement purposes. With the BJP government in place, there is an assurance that no one will dare to question your faith. Now, you can peacefully sing Hanuman Chalisa and celebrate Ram Navami without any hindrance. “Yah Bhajpa Ki Guarantee Hai.”

Shri Modi stated that during his recent visit to Rajasthan, he unveiled some truths in his 90-second speech. This revelation has stirred panic within the entire Congress and INDI alliance. PM Shri Modi emphasized that he exposed the Congress dangerous intentions to seize people's property and distribute it among its favored individuals. PM Shri Modi stated that, just a couple of days ago, I unveiled the vote bank and appeasement politics of the Congress. This has provoked such a strong reaction from the Congress and its ecosystem that they are busy hurling abuse at me everywhere. I want to question the Congress: Why are they so fearful of the truth? Why are they attempting to conceal their policies? Congress is so deeply entangled in the web of vote bank politics that it disregards Baba Saheb's Constitution. In their manifesto, Congress boldly states their intention to conduct surveys of people's property, even going as far as suggesting surveys of the sacred 'Mangalsutra' worn by women. One of their leaders even floated the absurd idea of conducting X-ray scans to uncover the savings that people have hidden away. They threatened that any excess assets found would be seized by the Congress government.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that when the Indian Constitution was created, there was strong opposition to reservations based on religion to ensure protection for the SC, ST, and OBC communities. Shri Narendra Modi emphasized that Manmohan Singh's statement that which community has have the first right over the country's resources. Congress has long been associated with a mindset of appeasement and vote bank politics. Upon forming the government at the Center in 2004, its initial move was to decrease the reservation quota for SC/ST communities in Andhra Pradesh while introducing religion-based reservation for a special community. This served as a pilot project, intended to be replicated nationwide. Over the period between 2004 and 2010, the Congress attempted to implement the same reservation in Andhra Pradesh on four separate occasions. However, due to legal obstacles and the vigilance of the Supreme Court, these plans could not come to fruition. In 2011, the Congress attempted to implement this policy nationwide. By reallocating rights from SC/ST and OBC communities, they engaged in a strategy of redistributing them to other groups for the sake of vote bank politics. Despite being fully aware that these actions contradicted the fundamental principles of the Constitution, the Congress persisted in their efforts, demonstrating a blatant disregard for constitutional values.

Shri Modi stated that when the BJP came to power in Karnataka, they eliminated the religion-based reservation that Congress had taken from the SC/ST. Shri Narendra Modi claimed that when Congress and the INDIA alliance were in power, they attempted to compromise reservations for Dalits and backward classes by granting separate reservations to specific groups for vote bank politics. He alleged that Congress and the INDI alliance sought to grant reservations to a special community based on religion, which Baba Saheb had originally provided to Dalits, backward classes, and tribals.

Hon’ble Prime Minister encouraged the public to ask Congress members why they started allocating reservations based on religion in states like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. This is ‘Modi ki guarantee’ that reservations for Dalits, backward classes, and tribals will neither be eliminated nor divided on religious grounds. Shri Narendra Modi pointed out that in 2020, when the constitutional time limit for reservations was expiring, it was him who extended the reservations for another 10 years.

Shri Narendra Modi stated that Congress will never contest elections on issues of development. He criticized Congress for depriving people of basic necessities like clean drinking water for decades. Shri Narendra Modi emphasized that the BJP government launched the Jal Jeevan Mission to provide ‘har ghar nal se jal’ but accused the Congress government in Rajasthan of engaging in corruption worth crores in the project. Shri Narendra Modi also mentioned that Congress did not approve crucial projects like the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project for the state, whereas the BJP government under Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, approved the ERCP in just three months. Shri Narendra Modi highlighted that the project would greatly benefit Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, especially farmers. He added that around ₹1,100 crore has been directly transferred to farmers in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. PM Shri Modi also claimed that Congress is allergic to modern infrastructure development, while BJP is building modern infrastructure across the country.

Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted that the country's largest Delhi-Mumbai expressway passes through Sawai Madhopur, and the central government has also approved the doubling of the Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur railway line. The Modi government completed the long-pending work on the Dausa-Gangapur City railway line and is preparing to establish a medical college to improve healthcare in the region.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi stated that this is his last rally in Rajasthan for the 2024 elections, and he expressed privilege in visiting various regions in the state recently. Shri Narendra Modi conveyed that he received overwhelming blessings from the people of Rajasthan, which he considers his greatest asset. Shri Narendra Modi noted that “Janata Ka Sapna Hi Modi Ka Sankalp Hai”. PM Shri Narendra Modi then emphasized that the work done in the last 10 years is just a trailer, the aim is to take the country much further. Shri Narendra Modi stated that his every moment is dedicated to the nation, and he is working 24/7 for 2047 to realize the dream of ‘Viksit Bharat’. PM Shri Narendra Modi urged all voters in Rajasthan to ensure the victory of all BJP candidates by a huge margin on April 26th.
