In the gracious presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, BJP's Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 “Modi Ki Guarantee 2024” was launched at the BJP HQs Extension. During the event, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Defence Minister and BJP’s Sankalp Patra Committee President Shri Rajnath Singh, Union Finance Minister & the convenor of BJP’s Sankalp Patra Committee Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, and other prominent leaders were present. Shri Singh emphasized that every promise in the BJP's manifesto carries the Modi Ki Guarantee. In Indian politics today, the Modi Ki Guarantee is considered as valuable as 24-carat gold, making the BJP's manifesto the gold standard not only in India but globally as well.
Union Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh expressed gratitude to the party's National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda for entrusting him with the responsibility of Chairman of 'Sankalp Patra'. Shri Singh highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, all the commitments made to the nation in the Sankalp Patra of 2014 and 2019 have been honored. Bharatiya Janata Party has fulfilled its promises through its Sankalp Patra, presenting a roadmap for building a self-reliant and robust India, while also affirming its dedication to the development and welfare of every segment of society. The manifesto presented by the BJP five years ago in 2019, under the theme of 'Sankalpit Bharat, Sashakt Bharat' not only encapsulated the vision for India upon completing 75 years of independence but also outlined the aspirations for India in 2047. In line with this vision, the BJP government has diligently worked to ensure the fulfillment of all promises from 2019 to 2024. The BJP stands by its words and actions, earning the confidence of the citizens, which is its greatest asset.
Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted several key achievements of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. These include the fulfillment of promises such as the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the introduction of the Nari Vandan Act, aimed at empowering women. Additionally, Shri Singh noted the construction of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and strides towards Atmanirbhar Bharat. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to inclusive development and the welfare of the poor, citing initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, which provides free ration to over 80 crore people. Shri Singh praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership in realizing the vision of a strong and visionary India over the past five years.
Sankalp Patra Committee President Shri Rajnath Singh while presenting the new Sankalp Patra of the BJP, highlighted the extensive public consultation process involved in its creation. He mentioned that around 4 lakh suggestions were received through the Namo app, while about 10 lakh suggestions came through video submissions, totaling 15 lakh suggestions through various channels. From these, key issues were selected and discussed, leading to the formation of the manifesto divided into 24 sections in which 10 social sections have been created which include poor, youth, middle class, women power, farmers, fishermen, deprived sections, and other backward and weaker sections. Administrative issues are divided into 14 areas, the Sankalp Patra talks about 1- Universal brotherhood: India's relations with other countries. 2- Secure India: Internal and external security of India, 3- Prosperous India, 4- Global manufacturing hub, 5- World-class infrastructure, 6- Ease of living, 7- Development of heritage, 8- Good governance, 9- Healthy India, 10- Quality education, 11- Development of sports, 12- Development of all sectors, 13- Innovation and technology and 14- Sustainable India where it is related to environment.
Union Defence Minister and Sankalp Patra Committee President Shri Rajnath Singh said that the manifesto presented by the BJP lays the foundation for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047, providing shape and direction to this ambitious goal. While concluding his remarks, Shri Rajnath Singh lauded Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his guidance during the preparation of the Sankalp Patra, expressing faith in his leadership to realize the vision of a Viksit Bharat. Shri Singh also praised the Election Manifesto Committee members for their diligent work in compiling, analyzing, and presenting the suggestions in a comprehensive Sankalp Patra for the public.
