Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Kasaragod and Vadakara (Kannur), Kerala on Wednesday. During the event, Lok Sabha candidates from Kasaragod Smt ML Ashwini, Shri MT Ramesh, Shri Prafulla Krishna from Vadakara, and Shri C Raghunath from Kannur, Kerala BJP President Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, State Secretary Shri K Ranjith and others leaders were present. In his address, Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted the cultural and historical significance of Kerala, emphasizing BJP's commitment to the state's development and welfare. He criticized the Congress and Left parties for their divisive politics and urged public’s support for BJP's vision. Shri Singh assured thorough investigations into corruption cases and assured recovery of lost public funds. Shri Singh urged people of Kerala to break free from the dominance of Congress and Left parties and support BJP for a decisive majority.

Shri Rajnath Singh affirmed the accuracy of the statement that Kerala is indeed ‘God’s own country’. Shri Singh emphasized the historical and cultural significance of Kerala's connection to Kasaragod and its association with Kesavananda Bharati, who valiantly fought to safeguard the constitution. Shri Singh emphasized that on this auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, after a span of 500 years, the celebration at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya is being observed in a magnificent manner. From Kerala to Kashmir, the threads of connection weave together the diverse cultural tapestry of India, with Bhagwan Ram serving as both a divine figure and a unifying cultural symbol for the nation.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that people from the Congress and CPI(M) fail to understand the significance of Bhagwan Ram. When it comes to celebrating the festival of Ram Navami, they make efforts to create numerous hurdles. Shri Singh noted that throughout history, anyone who has opposed Prabhu Ram has faced downfall. Congress and several Left parties have also opposed Bhagwan Ram, and now they have almost been eradicated from India.

Shri Singh stated that India's culture is rooted in the principle of 'Vasudeva Kutumbakam' (the world is one family), and it sends the message of 'Justice to all, Appeasement of none'. Shri Singh congratulated the BJP karyakartas in Kerala for transforming the party into a double-digit percentage entity in the state. In this election, the BJP will secure seats in double digits in Kerala. Shri Singh emphasized that the BJP's election manifesto is ‘Modi ki Guarantee’. It is ‘Modi guarantees’ that India will become the third-largest economy in the next 5 years and that the nation will emerge as the hub of world-class infrastructure. India will achieve monumental achievements in space exploration, akin to the Gaganyaan mission. The funds for the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme continue to reach farmers and will continue to do so in the future, this is Modi ki guarantee. Shri Singh highlighted that India is the only country in the world to have achieved success in landing a lander on the south pole of the moon. It is Modi ki guarantee that now the Gaganyaan mission will also be successful in achieving its target.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that in India, 4 crore pucca houses have been built, and it has been decided in the BJP's election manifesto that an additional 3 crore houses will be constructed in the coming time. Regardless of income group and irrespective of caste, creed, or religion, all individuals above the age of 70 will be provided with free medical facilities of up to ₹500,000. 10 crore women's Self-Help Groups will be provided training in IT, Health, Tourism, Retail, and other sectors. In the BJP's development vision, there exists a comprehensive roadmap for every section and society of Kerala. The BJP has announced in its manifesto that efforts will be made to connect tourists with the rich culture and heritage of the nation, and the country's heritage will be elevated to world-class status. Kerala holds immense opportunities in this regard. He assured that the BJP will also establish new centers for eco-tourism in Kerala, which will benefit tribal families greatly through the opportunities provided by homestays. The BJP government will also provide financial assistance to tribal women for homestays. BJP will also work for coastline protection, which will greatly benefit Kerala's fishermen. Utmost efforts will be made to safeguard their livelihood, which has been undermined by the previous actions of LDF and UDF. New clusters will be established for the production and processing of fisheries, and the quality of life of Kerala's fishing communities will be improved. BJP will do whatever it takes to enhance their dignity.

Shri Singh emphasized that the credibility crisis in Indian politics stems from the disparity between the words and actions of Congress and Left parties. However, the one part which has accepted this crisis as a challenge is the BJP. There has never been a disparity between the words and deeds of the BJP. The BJP has fulfilled whatever it has promised in its election manifesto. The most credible political party in this country is the BJP. He affirmed that by 2027, India will be the world's third-largest economy. And BJP will make every effort to ensure that by 2047, India stands as a developed nation.

Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized that the BJP had promised to abrogate Article 370 upon gaining a clear majority in Parliament, and it fulfilled that promise. Article 370 has been abrogated, and now Jammu and Kashmir has the same status as other states of India. The BJP stated in its election manifesto that on the day a clear majority government is formed, efforts will be made to construct Bhagwan Ram's Mandir on the land of Ayodhya. Now, Shri Ram has emerged from a tent and reached his mandir. With the advent of Ram Rajya in India, no force in the world can stop it. The BJP has also abolished triple talaq. People say how intervention can be made in matters of other religions, but if any woman, regardless of her religion, faces oppression, BJP will take strict action. BJP doesn't work solely to form governments but also for nation-building. Shri Rajnath Singh noted that it is the BJP's commitment that the Uniform Civil Code will be implemented in the next five years. Shri Singh stated that the BJP had promised to implement the CAA, and the party has demonstrated this by passing the act in parliament. Some people are trying to create confusion by suggesting that the CAA will revoke people's citizenship. However, Shri Singh clarified that the CAA is not intended to terminate anyone's citizenship but rather to grant citizenship. Neither LDF or UDF can be trusted as they have no credibility in their work or in their political character. He asked that Can you trust Congress and LDF? These people do 'Thallu Koodal' (fighting) among themselves in Kerala. But, in Delhi, the same Congress and Left do 'Modiram Matal' to increase friendship. Here in Kerala both of them are fighting against each other.

Shri Rajnath Singh remarked that the Left and Congress are pitted against each other in Kerala, while in Tamil Nadu, they form an alliance, showcasing a dual character. Shri Rajnath Singh criticized both the LDF and UDF for their inaction in addressing the challenges faced by rubber farmers in Kerala, asserting that the BJP is committed to working for the welfare of rubber farmers. Shri Singh highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation in Kerala, citing incidents of violence even against priests in churches and the transformation of college campuses into communist strongholds. He expressed concern that fear pervades every section of society, including women, youth, and emphasized that those in power in the state are in a state of obliviousness.

Union Defence Minister urged the people to rid Kerala of both the Congress and the Left, holding them responsible for significant damage to the state. Shri Singh particularly highlighted the understanding among voters, especially women, youth, and first-time voters, who have come to understand the actions of the Congress and the Left. Hence, he predicted that neither the Left nor the Congress would form the government in Kerala. Shri Singh emphasized that both these political parties have been exposed, and their game is over. Shri Singh stated that once these parties are ousted from a state, the doors are permanently closed for them. Shri Singh noted that the Congress last won an election in 1962 in Tamil Nadu, and similarly, in states like UP, Gujarat, and Bihar, it has been four decades since Congress tasted victory. Shri Singh mentioned Orissa, where the Congress has been out of power for three decades, and highlighted the absence of Congress MPs in several states across the country. Shri Singh further observed that while left parties once dominated Tripura and Bengal, they have also ceased to exist there now. Once a state expels the Congress and Communist Party, it often inscribes a "No Entry for Congress and Communist Party Again" sign at its borders.

Shri Singh noted that the Congress and Left parties are losing their relevance to each other, and their game is approaching its end in Kerala as well. Shri Singh emphasized that the divisive nature of the Congress and Left parties is now evident to the public. The Congress party demands proof of surgical strikes and air strikes, while the Left parties have moved even further beyond this. Shri Singh highlighted that the CPI has stated in its manifesto that it will destroy nuclear weapons upon coming to power. Shri Singh, questioning the Congress, inquired about its stand and approach regarding the CPI's commitment to disarm nuclear weapons. Shri Singhnoted that India's first nuclear test was conducted by Indira Gandhi's Congress government in 1974 due to the development of nuclear weapons in neighboring countries like China and the silent initiation of nuclear weapon production in Pakistan during the 1970s.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted that Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee established India as a nuclear power globally through five successful nuclear tests. Shri Singh emphasized that the Left and Congress aim to weaken India's strength. Given that both neighboring countries possess nuclear weapons, destroying India's nuclear arsenal would jeopardize national security. Shri Singh stated that such attempts to undermine the country's security constitute a profound conspiracy to weaken national defense. Shri Singh praised Kerala's progressive culture but criticized the Congress and Left parties for clinging to outdated ideologies that don't match the state's vibrant culture. Shri Singh highlighted that Congress and Left parties are against providing reservations to weaker sections, opposed the abolition of triple talaq, and were against granting constitutional status to the OBC Commission. Shri Singh underscored that BJP in independent India granted constitutional status to the OBC Commission.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted that whenever Prime Minister Modi visits other countries, he consistently promotes the branding of Kerala. However, today, no Congress leader has made such an effort. Over the past 10 versions, the BJP government has endeavored to do as much work as possible in every sector and region of the country. Amidst the war, it was the BJP government that brought back nurses stranded in Iraq to India. The war between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for the past 2 years, with firing from both sides continuing. When this war began, many Indian students were studying in Ukraine in fields such as medicine, engineering, and management. The parents of these students demanded their safe return from the Prime Minister. PM Modi immediately spoke with Ukrainian President Zelensky and Russian President Putin, and miraculously, the war stopped for four and a half hours, allowing more than 22,000 students to safely return to India from Ukraine.

Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized that in Kerala, the money of the poor, laborers, and women is being openly looted. There were more than 300 cooperative banks in the state, holding deposits of nearly ₹1 lakh crore from the people of Kerala. Due to corruption by the CPI(M), this money is now at risk. An investigation should be conducted into the scams related to Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited, and the BJP will ensure a thorough investigation. Approximately ₹90 crore of assets have been attached so far. When the BJP government comes into power, the public's money lost in scams will be recovered. Shri Singh stated that the situation of the Kerala government has reached a point where they don't have enough funds to pay their own employees. The central government sends money for Kerala's development, but the state government spends it on repaying its loans. The Supreme Court has also clearly stated that the state government is responsible for Kerala's financial crisis.

Shri Rajnath  Singh stressed that if Congress or Left parties maintain their dominance in Kerala, the state's destruction cannot be prevented. He urged the public to rally behind the BJP to secure a decisive majority in the state. Shri Singh appealed to the public to support Smt ML Ashwini, Shri Prafulla Krishna, and Shri C Raghunath in the elections.  Shri Singh highlighted the nationwide sentiment of “Abki Baar 400 Paar” and expressed confidence that the BJP is set for a grand entry into Kerala this time. Shri Singh assured that BJP will break Kerala free from the vicious cycle of LDF and UDF.
