Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Secunderabad and participated in a roadshow in Khammam in Telangana on Friday. During the address, Union Minister and Secunderabad candidate Shri G Kishan Reddy, Malkajgiri Lok Sabha candidate Shri Etela Rajender, Khammam Lok Sabha candidate Shri Tandra Vinod Rao, BJP National OBC Morcha President Shri K Lakshman, and other leaders were present. Shri Rajnath Singh praised Shri G Kishan Reddy and Shri Etella Rajendra for their dedication to the development of the state under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Singh criticized the BRS and Congress for engaging in family politics and exploiting Telangana.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that he had come to offer his heartfelt greetings to Shri G. Kishan Reddy. Shri Rajnath Sing mentioned that when Shri Rajnath Singh served as the National President of the Youth Wing, Shri G. Kishan Reddy played an influential role as a minister in the government. Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted how Shri G. Kishan Reddy, while holding ministerial positions in the central government, was familiar with his responsibilities and had shown how development could be brought to his parliamentary constituency as a member of parliament. Shri Singh noted that Shri G. Kishan Reddy’s character is such that despite being involved in politics for a long time, no opponent can point fingers at him and accuse him of corruption. Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized that the BJP does not engage in politics solely to form governments but also for nation-building. Shri Rajnath Singh mentioned Telangana's significance as the gateway to South India and stressed that the state has seen sacrifices from hundreds of individuals not only by Bharat Rashtra Samithi. Shri Rajnath Singh criticized the Telangana government for promoting corruption and exploiting the hard-earned money of the public, mentioning that those who sacrificed for the state would never forgive such actions.

Criticizing the corruption of INC or BRS, Shri Rajnath Singh questioned that what is the reason that whenever governments led by INC or BRS come to power, they face corruption charges. The public has witnessed that whenever the INC forms the central government, serious corruption charges are leveled against them, leading to imprisonment. Shri Rajnath Singh said that whether it's the Hon’ble Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government or Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's government, no country in the world can point fingers at a BJP-led government for any corruption charges. Shri Singh stated that the art of governance is known to the BJP, and under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is advancing rapidly. India's stature has grown globally, and its voice is now heard with seriousness on international forums. Shri Rajnath Singh, speaking on the economy, mentioned that in 2014, India was ranked 11th globally, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership has worked wonders, and within seven years, India has climbed to the 5th position. Economists and experts worldwide acknowledge that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, India is the fastest-growing economy globally. If India continues to progress at this rate, it will be among the top three economies globally by 2027.

Union Minister Shri Singh stated that if anyone wants to learn how to govern a country, they can learn from the Bharatiya Janata Party, particularly from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Rajnath Singh mentioned that former RBI Chairman Mr. Subbarao has written a book in which he stated that the state of the economy under the INC government was stagnant, despite the portrayal of a rosy picture. Governing by deceiving the public with lies is not sustainable, and INC's rule was characterized by corruption and deceit, just like the BRS's government in Telangana. Shri Rajnath Singh asserted that the INC has become completely outdated, and Indian politics is moving away from its influence. Shri Singh emphasized that the BJP does not engage in politics based on caste, creed, or religion but rather on the principles of justice and humanity. The BJP formed governments to build the nation, and it has delivered on its promises.

Highlighting the achievements of Modi government, Shri Singh said that the BJP's commitment to fulfilling its promises made in the 2014 Election Manifesto. He highlighted significant achievements, such as the initiation of the construction of the Ram Mandir after the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on January 22. The event marked the beginning of Ram Rajya in the nation. Additionally, the BJP fulfilled its pledge to abrogate Article 370, integrating Jammu and Kashmir into the Indian mainstream. Despite facing opposition, the party successfully abolished Triple Talaq, addressing a longstanding issue of gender justice. Regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Shri Singh clarified that it aims to grant citizenship rather than revoke it, contrary to misleading claims by the opposition. Shri Singh highlighted that the BJP's 2024 election manifesto includes a promise to introduce a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India. He noted that many progressive Islamic states have already implemented a UCC, countering allegations of communalism against the BJP for proposing it. He emphasized the party's consistency in aligning its words with actions, positioning it as unique among political parties.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that BRS and Congress have generated a crisis of credibility in Indian politics and the BJP has accepted the crisis of credibility as a challenge. Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted the growing stature of PM Shri Narendra Modi on the global stage. He recounted a recent instance during the Russia-Ukraine conflict when Indian students were stranded in Ukraine. Upon their parents' appeal, PM Shri Narendra Modi swiftly engaged with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, resulting in a 4.5-hour ceasefire that facilitated the safe evacuation of over 22,000 students from Ukraine. Shri Singh also countered allegations of communism and religious discrimination against the BJP by noting that five Arab nations have honored PM Shri Narendra Modi with their highest civilian award.

Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh pointed out that despite pledges from Jawaharlal Nehru to Indira Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, the Congress failed to effectively address poverty. In contrast, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, within just 8 years of governance, over 25 crore people have been lifted from the poverty line. He emphasized India's global leadership in digital transactions, accounting for 46 percent of the world's transactions. Shri Singh underscored BJP's achievements such as the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Bill, providing 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies, a feat unaccomplished by the Congress. Rejecting appeasement politics, the BJP prioritizes humanity. Shri Singh lauded the increase in road construction from 8-9 KM per day to 38-40 KM per day and India's transformation from a perceived weak country to a self-reliant one under PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership. The defense export has surged from ₹600 crore to ₹21,000 crore. Shri Singh praised candidate Shri G Kishan Reddy for his valuable contributions in cabinet meetings. Shri Rajnath Singh urged voters to secure victory for Shri G Kishan Reddy, Shri Etella Rajendra, and Tandra Vinod Rao stressing their importance in the upcoming elections.
