Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Bangaon and Uluberia, West Bengal on Tuesday. Shri Shah criticized the Congress, TMC and Communists for misleading the people about the BJP and expressed confidence that the BJP would win over 30 seats in West Bengal and surpass 400 seats overall. During the event, Union Minister Shri Jitendra Singh, BJP National General Secretary Shri Sunil Bansal, BJP state Vice-President Shri Sanjay Singh, Bangaon candidate Shri Shantanu Thakur and Uluberia candidate Shri Arun Dayal Chowdhary among other leaders were present.

 

Union Home Minister announced that four phases of elections have concluded, with 380 seats having undergone voting. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi-led NDA would secure victory on 270 of these seats, ensuring a full majority. The upcoming battle will be for "400 Paar." If the BJP wins more than 30 seats in West Bengal, then the people of the Matua community will receive citizenship under the CAA. Mamata Banerjee is misleading people by claiming that those who register under CAA will face troubles. It is the BJP's guarantee that no one will face difficulties; they will receive citizenship and respect in the nation. No one can prevent Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Sikh refugees from obtaining citizenship. It's Shri Narendra Modi's promise. Mamata Banerjee is engaging in vote bank politics. She allows intruders into the state and grants them citizenship through fraudulent means, while opposing citizenship for the Matua Community. Granting citizenship is the central government's responsibility, and the Namo-Sudra and Matua community will receive citizenship under the BJP government. Mamata Banerjee has given free rein to infiltrators, and Rohingyas come to the state from Bangladesh. Mamata Banerjee cannot prevent infiltration into the state, but she obstructs the people of the Matua community and Namo-sudra. Mamata Banerjee deprived refugees of citizenship to please her vote bank. But once BJP wins 30 seats in West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee's time will be up, and under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, BJP will form the government.

 

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah stated that Congress is an Anti-Dalit party. Even after ruling for a long time, they only allocated ₹41 thousand crore for the budget. But after becoming the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi increased their budget to ₹1 lakh 65 thousand crore within 10 years. The BJP declared 'Rashtriya Samrasta Divas' on the 14th of April, Constitution Day on 26th November, and established Panchtirth to pay tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar. The Congress, TMC and Communists stalled the construction of the Ram Mandir for 70 years. But after becoming Prime Minister for the second time, Shri Narendra Modi performed the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Bhagwan Shri Ram on January 22, 2024. Both Mamata Banerjee and Rahul Gandhi declined the invitation for the Pran Pratishtha of Bhagwan Shri Ram due to the fear of losing their vote bank, which primarily comprises infiltrators. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi facilitated the construction of the Ram Mandir and abrogated Article 370. Modi’s government has constructed 1300 kilometers of roads under the Gram Sadak Yojana in Uluberia and has approved the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata 6-lane expressway. West Bengal has been allocated with three Vande Bharat trains and the development of the Howrah railway station is underway. The BJP government has provided pucca houses to 30 thousand people, gas cylinders to 2 lakh 67 thousand women, and the 'Kisan Samman Nidhi' to 71 thousand farmers. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has worked to free the country from terrorism and Naxalism.

 

Hon’ble Shri Shah stated that Shri Narendra Modi has liberated the country from terrorism. There is a reign of syndicates in West Bengal, and these syndicates function under the patronage of Mamata Banerjee's nephew. To eliminate this syndicate, cut-money, infiltrations, and bomb blasts, the government led by Shri Narendra Modi is necessary, as Mamata Banerjee has failed to address these issues. There is boundless poverty in West Bengal. Under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, the entire country has progressed, but Bengal lags behind because of corruption. Anuvrat Mandal, Kunal Ghosh, Tapas Pal, and some vice-chancellors, all these individuals are in jail in cases related to providing jobs to youths, cow smuggling, and coal scam. Mamata Didi's slogan of "Maa, Mati, Manush" has now changed to "Mulla, Madrasa, and Mafia". She pays salaries to mosque imams but not to temple priests. Tazias can be taken out, but the Maa Durga procession cannot happen here. During Durga Puja, government employees do not get a half-day holiday, but Mamata Banerjee gives a half-day holiday during Ramadan. Mamata Didi's nephew and his goons are involved in rampant sand mining from the Damodar River.

 

Union Home Minister stated that Mamata Banerjee has been involved in extensive corruption in Bengal, with ₹50 crores discovered in the residence of one of her ministers. This ₹50 crores rightfully belongs to the poor of West Bengal. There have been scandals in chit fund scams, ration distribution, municipal recruitment, and teacher hiring. Additionally, there have been scandals involving cow and coal smuggling. Those engaged in corruption will face repercussions, and the BJP is committed to ensuring all individuals involved are prosecuted and put behind bars. In Uluberia, silk weaving was famous, but TMC goons shut it down. After the BJP government comes to power in Bengal, under the 'One District One Product' scheme, it will be revived. Nephews of Mamata Didi have built their shops on the canal above the Rupnarayan River and extorted money from farmers. Mamata Didi says that if the BJP comes to power, they will end the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme. But the truth is that BJP will not shut down any scheme. We will increase the amount to ₹100 in the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme.

 

Shri Shah highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the impoverished population of West Bengal has been granted houses, toilets, access to piped water through Nal Se Jal initiative, gas connections, 5 kg of rice, and health coverage of up to ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. In Bengal, women had to walk 1 to 2 kilometers to fetch water. There have been several movements for water in the state, but Mamata Banerjee's people only provide water to houses with cut money. Trinamool Congress, led by Mamata Banerjee, claims to distribute 5 kg of rice in Bengal, but it is Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who is facilitating the ration supply. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi initiated the PM Sadak Yojana, which was renamed by Mamata Banerjee as the Bengal Gram Sadak Yojana. Mamata Banerjee changed the name of the PM Fasal Bima Yojana to the Bengal Fasal Yojana, the PM Awas Yojana to the Bengal Awas Yojana, the Swachh Bharat Yojana to the Nirmal Bangla Mission, and the Jal Jeevan Mission to the Jol Swapno Yojana. Shri Narendra Modi has made the country safe and prosperous. Shri Narendra Modi has worked to provide all these facilities to 60 crore poor people. Mamata Banerjee has been involved in infiltrations, cut money, corruption, and hooliganism in Bengal. Shri Narendra Modi, not Mamata Banerjee, can make Bengal free from bomb blasts.

 

Hon’ble Union Home Minister stated that Mamata Banerjee is alleging irregularities in the EVMs. The same EVMs were used when Mamata Banerjee became Chief Minister, and at that time, there were no complaints. Now that the public is demanding change, Mamata Banerjee is suddenly finding faults in the EVMs. Shri Amit Shah asserted that once BJP and Shri Shantanu Thakur win in Bengal, Shri Narendra Modi will work towards the welfare of the Matua community, Namo-sudra community, Biharis, Odias and people from Uttar Pradesh. Shri Shah appealed to the public to support the 'Lotus' symbol and support BJP candidate Shri Shantanu Thakur and elect Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for a third term.
