Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public rallies in Dantewada and Kanker in Chhattisgarh on Saturday. In his address, Shri Rajnath Singh lauded the BJP's governance in Chhattisgarh, emphasizing their commitment to development and the eradication of corruption. Shri Singh praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's initiatives for inclusive growth, particularly in uplifting marginalized communities like tribals. He urged the public to support BJP's victory in upcoming elections, and referred to the Congress as a diminishing force in Indian politics. During the event, the BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Bastar, Shri Mahesh Kashyap, Chhattisgarh BJP President Shri Kiran Singh Deo and BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Kanker Shri Bhojraj Nag, among other leaders were present.

Shri Rajnath Singh commenced his address by seeking the blessings of Maa Danteshwari and acknowledged the land of Chhattisgarh by highlighting its prominence as the ancestral home and land of penance of Bhagwan Ram. Shri Singh then stated that the BJP Chhattisgarh President Shri Kiran Singh Deo is an influential speaker and understands the issues of the public with utmost seriousness. Shri Singh recalled that when Chhattisgarh state and the first state legislative assembly election was held, he had come to the state as the in-charge from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He acknowledged the public and stated that out of 20 years, the people of Chhattisgarh have kept a BJP government in the state for 15 years. Shri Singh remarked that in the remaining 5 years the misdeeds of the Congress have been witnessed by everybody.

Shri Singh emphasized that just a few months ago, assembly elections were held in Chhattisgarh and now the Lok Sabha elections have occurred. Shri Singh mentioned ‘One Nation, One Election’ and highlighted that the BJP's stance is that elections for both the assembly and Lok Sabha should be held simultaneously across the country. So that the time and resources of the public are saved. The public has also welcomed this proposal.

Shri Singh stated that the Congress ran the government in the country for a long time, and along with that, corruption has also increased. Shri Singh stated that numerous scams like Jeep, Rafael, 2G, and fertilizer scams have occurred during the Congress’ tenure. And when the Congress government came to power in Chhattisgarh, there was corruption ranging from cow dung to buffalo feed. But under the BJP’s Shri Vishnu Deo Sai-led government, work is being done effectively in the state. Shri Singh assured that if the Modi government is formed at the centre for the third time as chosen by the people, the development of Chhattisgarh will accelerate rapidly and everyone will witness it. India is progressing rapidly today and achieving new heights of development, and in that, Chhattisgarh also has a significant contribution.

Shri Rajnath Singh expressed the determination of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to build 'Viksit Bharat,' a nation where no one remains impoverished, where anyone willing to work finds employment, and where no one has to endure humiliation or suffering. Shri Rajnath Singh underscored the vision of constructing such a nation. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has performed wonders, previously, India was considered a poor country globally, and when India spoke, the world paid little attention. However, today, India's stature has grown so much that when India speaks on any global platform, the world listens attentively. Formerly, the Congress used to visit other countries with their complaints, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established a structure in India where if there is a conflict between two countries, they seek resolution from Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and expect a way forward.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted the rampant corruption during the Congress regime in Chhattisgarh, emphasizing that whenever the party has been in power, allegations of corruption have surfaced. However, during the last two decades of BJP rule, no one in the world can point fingers at the government with any corruption charges. Shri Rajnath Singh recalled Rajiv Gandhi's acknowledgement that out of every 100 paise sent by the government for the poor, only 14 paise reached the people, with the rest being siphoned off through corruption. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi embraced this challenge by introducing the Jan Dhan, Aadhar, and Mobile trio, ensuring that the entire amount sent from Delhi's banks reaches the pockets of the poor without any corruption.

Shri Rajnath Singh praised former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his empathy towards the tribal community and his initiative to establish a separate ministry for tribal affairs. He noted that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi furthered this concern by introducing the PM Jan Man Yojana, specifically addressing the needs of the most marginalized, including the tribal population. Shri Singh emphasized that under previous administrations, the fair value of forest produce never reached the indigenous communities, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taken steps to address this issue, demonstrating his commitment to the welfare of the tribal population.

Shri Rajnath Singh elaborated on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's significant initiatives and empathetic approach towards various segments of society, particularly highlighting his focus on tribal communities. Shri Singh emphasized how the Prime Minister's leadership has led to tangible improvements in the lives of tribals, such as increased Minimum Support Prices for forest produce, showcasing a commitment to their welfare and empowerment. Earlier, only ten forest produce items received Minimum Support Prices. However, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi believes that the 90 forest produce items should also receive MSP, reflecting his deep concern for the tribal community.. Furthermore, Shri Singh delved into the Prime Minister's symbolic gestures of respect towards tribal leaders like Bhagwan Birsa Munda, demonstrating an understanding of their cultural significance and contributions to the nation. By commemorating Bhagwan Birsa Munda's birth anniversary as Janjati Gaurav Diwas, the Prime Minister acknowledges the integral role of tribal communities in India's socio-cultural fabric.

Shri Rajnath Singh underscored the Prime Minister's proactive approach to development in states like Chhattisgarh, where substantial infrastructure projects have been initiated to boost economic growth and improve living standards for which almost ₹35 thousand crore has been allocated for development of Chattisgarh. He contrasted this with the political rhetoric of the INDI Alliance, particularly their threats to imprison Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, highlighting the BJP's focus on genuine governance over political theatrics. Moreover, Shri Rajnath Singh elaborated on the transformative impact of digitalization spearheaded by the Prime Minister, enabling tribal communities to participate in the digital economy through mobile-based transactions. This digital revolution empowers tribals economically and fosters financial inclusion, aligning with the government's overarching goal of inclusive growth and development. 46% of the world's digital transactions originate from India.

Shri Rajnath Singh discussed the BJP's electoral promises and their track record of delivering on them, contrasting it with the INC's history of making lofty promises without fulfilling them. Shri Rajnath Singh specifically pointed out the BJP's commitment to building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, fulfilling a longstanding demand, while questioning the INC's credibility in fulfilling its electoral pledges. Overall, Shri Rajnath Singh's elaboration highlights the Prime Minister's comprehensive vision for inclusive development and governance, emphasizing concrete actions taken to uplift marginalized communities like tribals and contrasting the BJP's governance approach with that of its political opponents.

Shri Rajnath Singh stated that today every Chhattisgarhi's voice is  "Aamcho Sarkar, Aamcho Modi, Aamcho Bhajpa". Earlier, no one even imagined that women from poor families would ever cook food on gas stoves, but Shri Narendra Modi has thought about the concerns of these women, and today, gas connections have been provided to them. After coming to power in 2014, Shri Narendra Modi expressed that there would not be a single family left in the country without a pucca house. Under the Congress government, this scheme was not implemented in Chhattisgarh as effectively. Shri Singh assured that those who have not yet received a pucca house in Chhattisgarh will get it within three years.

Shri Singh stated that if there had been a BJP government instead of a Congress government in the last 5 years, 'Nal se Jal’' would have reached 100% of the public's homes. Congress believed that implementing Shri Narendra Modi's schemes would lead to Shri Narendra Modi gaining full support from the public. It was this fear that prevented the Congress government from fully implementing the central government’s schemes in the state.

Shri Singh stated that India's strength is continuously increasing. Sometimes, the opposition accuses Shri Narendra Modi of discriminating between Hindus and Muslims. Today, five Arab countries in the world have bestowed their highest honour upon Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Former naval officers serving in Qatar were working there. They were sentenced to death by a Qatari court in a case. As soon as Shri Narendra Modi got to know about this, he immediately spoke to the President of Qatar. Due to his influence, the punishment of those officers was pardoned.

Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted that due to India's growing strength, the whole world is praising the nation today. Shri Singh mentioned that it had never happened before in the world that 25 crore crore people have been uplifted from the poverty line. Shri Singh emphasized that India had demonstrated this under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi. Furthermore, Shri Rajnath Singh pointed out that Congress is now merely a war-worn iron. Shri Singh appealed to the public to ensure Bharatiya Janata Party's victory with heavy mandates in the upcoming elections.
