The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today addressed a massive rally in Tonk, Rajasthan.

Addressing the gathering, the PM paid respects to the brave martyrs from Rajasthan who laid down their lives at Pulwama. He said, not just India but the whole world is with us.

Stating that the fight is against terrorism and those who sponsor terrorism, PM said that it is not against Kashmir, but for Kashmir. He said that it is the duty of every Indian to protect Kashmiris. He added that the fight is against the enemies of humanity.  In this context he mentioned that Kashmiris want peace and Government will work towards ensuring peace in the region.

Strongly admonishing those who talk the language of Pakistan while in India , PM said that such people are only interested in removing Modi as Prime Minister. He added that they are neither working for the jawans nor the farmers . “They did not have the courage to do anything after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks”, PM said.

Terming the loan waiver policy of the Congress party as a poll gimmick, Prime Minister said that loan waivers help only around twenty percent of the farmers and only those who have taken loans. He said that the NDA Government's PM Kisan scheme will benefit around ninety percent of the farmers. In this context, he mentioned that close to 7.5 lakh crore rupees will directly go to the accounts of the small and marginal farmers through PM KISAN scheme.

Prime Minister criticized the anti-farmer stance of Rajasthan State Government, where even the promise of loan waivers has not been implemented well.

Modi highlighted the achievements of the NDA government in the past four and half years. In this context he mentioned about the OROP scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat scheme, PM Awas Yojana, PM KISAN scheme, etc. He said that these schemes have transformed the lives of the poor, farmers and other sections of the society. He added that ten percent reservation to economically weaker section and the various insurance schemes introduced will immensely benefit the poor.

Prime Minister said that such good schemes are possible only when the government works with clean intentions and clear ideas. He added that in the past four and half years it has been proved that anything is possible with Modi.

The Prime Minister said that such transformation has been possible only because of having a strong government at the Centre. He also thanked the people of Tonk for their affection.
