Salient points of the speech of BJP National President, Shri Amit Shah during Parivartan Yatra, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh)

• The Parivartan Yatra, which will travel through the state and conclude on December 24, will lay the foundation for BJP’s two third majority in ensuing assembly elections.
• The approaching assembly elections of UP are crucial for the state’s future. In the last 15 years, it was either SP or BSP that formed the government and as a result, development in the state has completely been missing.
• The Modi government at centre has made many schemes but SP government in Lucknow, because of personal vested interests does not allow it to reach the common masses here in UP.
• Neither SP or BSP can bring development in the state. If you want progress and prosperity, you will need to elect a BJP government with full majority.
• You already have PM Narendra Modi at the centre who has been elected by you. If we have BJP CM in UP, we will make it India’s number state in the next five years and Bundelkhand the most developed and prosperous area of UP.
• Bundelkhand has not got developed due to the mining scam here, which BJP only can stop.
• Mayawati claims that if BSP wins, law and order will become robust in the state. I wish to remind her that during her rule, there was rampant corruption with scam like Taj Corridor when Mayawati was CM. During BSP rule, there were only statutes which had got build.
• During SP’s rule, the land grabbing has been one of the main issues, the goondas of SP have been responsible for grabbing the land of the poor. If the BJP comes to power in UP, it makes sure that grabbed land would be returned back to the rightful owners.
• Bundelkhand and poorvanchal have been worst affected by the issue of migration. BJP, if voted to power, would make sure that there is enough growth and development locally, which would address the issue of migration to other states by the people.
• However, there is no goonda element in BJP. Only BJP can give goonda free UP.
• Congress, BSP and SP have been protesting the government’s response to the Supreme Court query on the issue of Triple Talaq. Even Muslim women have the right to a secured and safe life and practices like triple talaq should go. For the sake of votes, these parties are playing with the rights of Muslim women.


