BJP National President Shri Amit Shah addressed a Parivartan Maharally rally at Ramabai Ambedkar Stadium in Lucknow today. Shri Shah said, SP and BSP in UP just do the politics of acquisitions. Despite the wealth of resources in the state, UP has not developed. Only BJP can make this state a Uttam Pradesh. The youths of the state with the power to change the fate of the country's, are desperate for change therefore the change is inevitable.
Shri Shah after seeing the biggest political rally so far and enthusiasm of people, said that the continuous support of people in various parivartan rally is the indication that party will win the elections with two third majorities. Shri Shah said, at the beginning of the Parivartan Yatra it was asked that who will form the government. But after the today’s rally only question that will be left is who will stand second in number.
The BJP National President said that the Parivartan Yatra visited to the village and town in the state and blew the conch shell of change. Fifteen years later, such a government is going to come which is development centric. The state will come out as most prosperous state in the country, as the state will develop and be a perfect state. Shri Shah said, the use of word Parivartan is not to change, the Chief Minister or MLA but to change the fate of UP.
Uncle, aunt, nephew ruled the state for fifteen years and harmed it. They cannot bless the state. We have to bring Narendra Modi led government for development of the state. We just do not promise growth but has showed that in the BJP-ruled states. There is BJP led government in 10 states of the country. Even after so many years of independence in the state there is no electricity in every home, school do not have teachers and teachers have no destiny for class rooms. Due to corruption employment, health, affordable medicines, and connectivity by roads is still missing. The farmers is not getting fair prices in market.
Shri Shah said, the area I come from, there is water below 1,200 feet. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh the ground water is just below hundred feet. The rivers like Ganga, Yamuna and Gandak flow in state. The state has a very fertile land. Along with it there are hardworking farmers and sharp minded youths. Across the country Youths of UP are contributing to the development of UP but cannot so in their own state.
The National President said that, the largest contributor to the country's progress is from UP. They have given 73 Lok Sabha seats out of 80 are given to BJP. Uttar Pradesh has made Narendra Modi the Prime Minister. Every year, Shri Modi has given over one lakh crore more to Uttar Pradesh every year but the corruption of Ganges that is flowing in Lucknow is not letting the development take place in the state. So it is necessary to overthrow the corrupt government.
Shri Shah said that, in every part of the country discussion about Uttar Pradesh is gundaraj, rape of Bulandshahr, corruption in Agra-Lucknow highway and land capture. Shri Modi has announced Chardham National Project. The connectivity of which has to be built by carving out many mountains, but the price of this is less than Agra-Lucknow highway. This only shows that how much corruption has occurred. Women are not safe in Akhilesh rule. The strong men have captured land illegally. Police Stations do not lodge a complaint. There was no gundaraj during the Shri Kalyan Singh and Shri Rajnath Singh rule in the state. If the BJP government is formed in the state the goons will go to jail or leave the state. SP and BSP are abusing each other of corruption and continue to do the corruption themselves.
Shri Shah said the Narendra Modi-led BJP government during its two and half years rule do not have a single charge of corruption. Mamata, Akhilesh, Mayawati and Kejriwal are chanting the banning of notes and Modi. Before 8th November they all use to ask what did Modi do to black money but now they all are asking why did you do this. Decision of note ban will empower the poor, farmers, labours, Dalits and give the backward people equal opportunities. After several years, the country has such a prime minister who thinks of the poor.
The National President said that, the positive results of banning of notes are beginning to show now. On the loans banks have been cut interest on loans by one per cent. Bank loans to the farmers has been increased from 21 thousand crores to 42 thousand crores. There has been 20 per cent increase of the loans extended to small traders and the elderly interest on savings has increased to eight per cent. There is a politics of distracting happening in Uttar Pradesh. Uncle or nephew becomes the chief should not be issue of the election, but the purchase of farmer's produce, employment to the unemployed, electricity in the villages should be the election issues.
Shri Shah said that during the 70 years of rule in the state which was mostly by Congress, SP and BSP the government did nothing to remove smoke from the cottage. The Narendra Modi-led BJP government in two and half year has released 1.5 crores gas connections, two hundred crores bank accounts, crop insurance, neem coated urea such gifts have been given to the people. The uncle nephew fights on commission led to the non-payment of premium for crop insurance therefore UP could not get the benefit of it. The central government has brought more than ninety schemes for poor, downtrodden and backward of state.
UP government is not letting the schemed to reach to the villages. Centre is pouring in resources from its high tension wire but the state government of Uttar Pradesh Transformer is burnt. This needs to change. Shri Shah has called upon the people of the state to uproot the Akhilesh Yadav government and lead the way for development.
