BJP National President, Shri Amit Shah, attended and addressed the gathering on occasion of Guru Gobind Singh 350 years of Parkash Utsav, at Shivaji Maidan, Jabalpur, MP.
BJP president said that today is a very solemn occasion, we all have gathered for the festival the Pakashparv of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji 350th year. He said that, the ideals and principles of Guru Gobind Singh, did great favour to the country, such examples are very rare in the history. He added that the life it is difficult to find the parallel of Guru Gobind Singh Ji is scarce, God at times gifts many qualities in the same person, such multi-faceted personality he was. He said that, Guru Gobind Singh Ji was at the same time, a great warrior, poet, prophet and spiritual person.
Mr Shah said that, undoubtedly Guru Gobind Singh Ji was one of the best poets of his time, he did not wrote in one language but many such as Braj, Gurmukhi, Hindi, Persian – he wrote literature in many languages. He said that a person is born in Patna, establishes the Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib and works for the purification of the Braj dialect, how glorious was his personality.
BJP president said, in the sphere of heroism Guru Gobind Singh Ji unsurpassed all, there was no one as brave as him, such a warriors rarely takes birth in a thousand years, the more is sang about his bravery, they are less. When a 9-year-old boy inspires his father Guru Tegh Bahadur to self-sacrifice for the interest of the country, such a child only becomes Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Mr Shah said, in the thousands years in the history there is only one heroic martyrs who for the sake of the country jovially sacrificed his four sons, two of his four sons were killed in the battle of Sahibzaade Chamkaur and two sons buried in the wall, while alive. Mr. Shah referring to a poignant tale said, “When the younger brother was being buried in the wall the elder son of his was in tears, he asked we are the child of lion then why are you in tears. To this the big brother responded that on the path of religion instead of the big brother little one is sacrificed, so there is tear welled in my eyes. At that time not even they did not have shave this can only be expected from heroic sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's full and nobody else."
The national president said the establishing of the Khalsa Panth for the defence of the country by the tenth guru can never be forgotten. He said that Guru Gobind Singh, by founding the Khalsa Panth did several jobs together, inspired Sikhs for bravery, for the independence and spirituality, gave words to the work of the ten gurus by Gurbani. He is also the worked for keeping intact national unity and integrity as well as they work to eliminate caste discrimination. He said that, Guru Gobind Singh ji, he picked from different parts of the country, from different castes and creed and made punch-payre which worked to sew nation into one. He roused the imagination of the people for national unity so that whenever there is threat to religion and society or whenever there is some trouble we all should stand together and face bravely. Today, after so many years his established cult is still lighting the unity and knowledge to the.
Shri Shah said that Guru Gobind Singh, through the five 'K' worked for keeping the society of the country together through unity, cleanliness, perseverance, patience and heroism which is an inspiration for us even today to how to live in the spirit of cooperation and fight or the freedom of the country. Wherever there is Sikh community they live together with the belief in equality.
BJP President said be it the work to fill country's grain reserves or security of border, the Sikh brothers always work and has shown courage. He said the credit of making country self sufficient in grains goes Punjab's Sikh brothers He said 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' slogan came very late but the with the inspiration of Guru Gobind Singh Ji 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' slogan is deep seated in the soul of Sikhs.
Mr Shah said that seed of faith that Guru Gobind Singh laid by establishing Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib has become Banyan Tree 300-325 years later. He said the Khalsa has a big contribution in the history of this country. He said that Guru Gobind Singh, Shivaji Maharaj and Rajputan together raised the voice against the cruel regime of Aurangzeb. He said that from Baba Banda, Singh Bahadur to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji all worked to make the Sikh Empire stronger. From state of Haryana, till from Kashmir to Afghanistan, entire region was under one rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
BJP president said, it is the inspiration of Guru Gobind Singh Ji that the BJP governments are running in many states of the country at present and there is also a BJP and allies government at the Centre. The BJP government at the Centre has decided to organize the 350th Prakash Parv as tribute to the Guru Gobind Singh Ji' in every corner of the country everywhere, whether there Sikhs live or not. A committee has been formed for it, it is a privilege for me that I am a member of that committee. He said, the Government of India will renovate all places connected with the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and dissemination his messages with a budget of Rs.100 crore under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Mr Shah said that, Guru Gobind Singh Ji's life, for thousands of years to come, will remain untamed inspiration not only for the Sikhs, not only for India but for the whole world. He said, how to live for country, how social reform can be brought, how harmonious society can be built, how languages can be saved, how to expand the individual soul through languages can be easily spirituality can be brought to life, become martyrs jovially and without giving up the struggle for independence of the country and sacrifice my whole family if one has to learn it and understand then one should take inspiration from the life of guru Gobind Singh Ji. He inspired people to learn from Khalsa cult 'Vichitra Natak’.
BJP president said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji's life spreads so much light that after 350 years later, the light is still dazzling India, it surprised that how a person's life could be so simple and glorious. He said the in the coming thousands of years, the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji will remain for people around the world a source of inexhaustible inspiration to protect literature, religion, devotion and to uplift the stature of one’s soul. He said that I had the opportunity to visit the holy community; it is a matter of great privilege for me.
