Salient points of the Press Conference of BJP National Secretary, Shri Shrikant Sharma
Despite the problems faced by people of this country they are praising Prime Minister and showing solidarity for this tough decision on black money. People know that PM policy as well his intention on black money is of zero-tolerance.
The BJP government at centre has taken many effective steps to remove the miseries of the people. From today Rs 2000 notes will be available for withdrawal from ATM. People will get relief on the problem of change and smaller denomination like Rs 50 and Rs 20 will be also be made available in the ATM. The withdrawal limit for the different categories has been increased, now people can withdraw Rs2500 and the withdrawal limit from bank has been increased to Rs 4500. The current account holders of business units of more than 3 month old can withdraw till Rs 50000. Along with this the old notes will be valid on the stations, airports, petrol pump and hospitals till 24th November 2016.
Today arrangements have been made for separate queue for the elderly and disabled persons. Government is taking help of air force for ensuring adequate cash flow in the semi-rural and semi-urban areas. 1.1 lakhs Micro- ATM has been activated in town areas and in the semi-urban areas, 90,000 Micro- ATM has been activated. There will be no charge on the ATM transaction till 30 December. National highway will be toll free till 18th November 2016; government will bear the loss of revenue during this period and will pay to these companies. Not only this, the government made free the parking of vehicles on the airport till 21st November 2016.
Elaborating on the measure of black money Shri Sharma said, “This is imitative of the rural, poor and the farmers as well youths of this country because it is the fight for their integrity. The people could not get their legitimate share of rights since independence. This is a fight of liberation from black money and corruption. At one place despite the all kinds of problems people are solidly behind Shri Narendra Modi on the other hand the few political parties are trying to derail this initiative and defame PM. We do hope that the other political parties will also support this government on black money but their opposition has badly exposed them and unmasked the real face is out and open.
Today entire opposition is united on this decision of black money and vehemently opposing it. Where the Pm Shri Modi wants to eradicate black money and cooperation from country on the other hand anti-poor and anti-development who accumulate huge wealth wants to remove PM only. This fight is clear-cut this is fight of the people and they have understood that who is with them in the fight against corruption and self interest and family. People know this inside out.
UP CM Shri Akhilesh Yadav has said that black money insulates an economy during recession. Shri Sharma accused UP CM saying that this is surgical strike against corruption and black money. The money accumulated from land mafia and mining mafia has turned into pieces of paper. You are asking for concession for your family not for the economy and poor. You are thinking that if we get some concession our family economy runs smoothly. This surgical strike has taken place at the right place therefore out of raging anger they are criticizing PM Modi.
With the help of media I want to ask sister Mayawati, Mulayam Singh ji, Rahul Gandhi and Shri kejriwal during the Sonia- Manmohan government there has been instances of plundering and loot from both the hands, at that time Mayawati ji was supporting the congress party, Mulayam Singh was also supporting the congress along with the the Left parties and Mamata Banerji. And Arvind Kejriwal came to power by shaking hands with congress now they all stands unmasked.
The government which was eating the commission on 2G, commonwealth games, in cement, in tiles, commission on farmer loans, subsidies of the BPL gas connections, commission on defense accusation all these parties together were supporting the congress party. In this critical fight this is evident now that people know who is fighting for them and who all for their own self interest.
Even in the instances of death of dengue and malaria in Delhi Shri Kejriwal never called special session, and never payed any tribute. Now slowly and slowly he is getting exposed.
Narda, Sharda all these fictitious companies in West Bengal who looted the poor money Mamta never came to Delhi for these companies, she did not even meet the President Shri Mukherjee. So this is proved that she is not with the common people but against those who have made the economy of country a hollow one.
We are with the problems of common man and our government is working to address the problem soon. PM has appealed to the countrymen that we will see a new country altogether in next 50 days.
