PRESS STATEMENT ISSUED BY BJP NATIONAL SECRETARY, SHRI SHRIKANT SHARMA 

For the cause of eliminate funding of black money, to end corruption and terror the whole country stands with the Prime Minister. Rahul Gandhi do not have serious issues at hand therefore have come down in the politics of the TRP. Full of arrogance and conceit of the shrinking base of  Congress, Rahul Gandhi has lost his cool.  Therefore he is unnecessarily alleging PM. His desperation for TRP is a disruption in the winter session of Parliament. 

When Congress was in power in the parliament, party was surrounded by scams, they use to run from the discussion in house. Even in opposition, they are running away from discussion and doing same thing. The government is ready to discuss every issue, but the House is interrupted by the opposition entire country is watching. 

Congress Vice President Mr Rahul Gandhi has termed demonetization as biggest scam. Congress has run the government from last 70 years. In ten years of UPA rule alone congress has been accused of 12 lakh crore scam. Rahul Gandhi knows better which is the biggest scams. 

Congress vice president is shedding the crocodile tears in the name of 125 crores countrymen. Two lakh farmers had committed suicide during the UPA's ten years, at that time they were playing flute of contentment. Ten years of the Sonia-Manmohan government looted of the country like never before, the entire country has seen this.  

The solutions are being sought on account of the black money drive that People are facing against such a big step. Announcements are being made for making India a Digital India. People are facing this with full patience. Here there is war against black money whereas the opposition are Celebrating Black Day.   

Rahul Gandhi says he wants to speak in the House, but the truth is that the fear of being exposed on black money, he runs out of the house and disrupts proceedings of house.

It seems that the drive against black money has broken the back of the Congress's party. The opposition which is in minority opposition in the House and not allowing the elected government to work which has come to power on the voted of 125 crore Indians. This is affecting the country's development. 

Rahul Gandi says if he speaks in parliament there will be earthquake but everyone knows the truth. His statements have shocked more his own party than anyone else. 

On the action on black money and fake currency, the opposition is often accusing the government of entangling it to make the economy cashless. The big decision to ban notes was due to the presence of large amount of fake currency in the economy. The opposition should also know that after banning notes throwing stones in Kashmir and Maoist have declined. Tax revenues will increase in the cashless economy. Due to currency ban a lot of money has already reached in the banks. This money has to be spent on mostly for poor and farmer. 

 After the bold and historic decision of Modi government those who use to do the politics of “votes and note" the hip of such political parties has been broken. Leaders of these parties have lost their cool since November eight and engraining in biased rhetorical. Strike on black money has affected such leaders of these parties as they have suffered injury. 

 Rahul Gandhi says that after the announcement of the banning of notes  public confidence has broken. The fact that the Modi government's bold decision of  banning notes have destroyed the self confidence of  a quarter of century-old Congress party. In ten years of UPA misrule is wrapped in 2G,  CWG, coal scam, and many other countless scams. Those leaders who had staged billions in cash that was deposited in their vaults have been destroyed. Only such leaders trust is broken. 

Congress party had made mockery of poor people while in power and today also making a mockery of the poor while in opposition. The Modi government decision of banning notes is for the happiness of next generation of poor farmers and worker, while parties like the Congress which nurtures corruption is a huge tragedy.
