Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda met the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam H.E. Pham Minh Chinh on 1st August 2024 at New Delhi as part of the ‘KNOW BJP’ initiative.

Shri Nadda offered condolences on the passing away of General Secretary Of Communist Party of Vietnam H E Nguyen Phu Trong. During their meeting, both leaders reflected on the remarkable growth in bilateral ties between India and Vietnam over the past decade. Shri Nadda,  as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, proposed strengthening collaborations in the health sector with Vietnam, emphasising the mutual benefits of sharing expertise and resources to improve healthcare outcomes in both countries.

They also resolved to further enhance party-to-party relations through the exchange of delegations between BJP and Communist Party of Vietnam in the near future, fostering a deeper partnership and understanding between the two countries.

Shri Nadda was accompanied by BJP Foreign Affairs department In-charge Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale during the meeting.

Prime Minister H.E. Pham Minh Chinh is on a state visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
