Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and BJP National President Shri Amit Shah handed ‘Asthi Kalash’ (urns) containing ashes of former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee to BJP's all state unit presidents ************* All the BJP state unit presidents will take these ‘Asthi Kalash’ to their respective states and immerse ‘Asthi’ (ashes) of Late Shri Vajpayee Ji in all the holy rivers in their states ************* The ashes of late Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji will be immersed in more than 100 holy rivers across the country ************* It will also be an opportunity for every party member and citizens of the country living in remote areas to pay their last respect to the beloved leader, a true Bharat Ratna ************* Not only the BJP family, but the whole nation is bereaved on the demise of Shri Vajpayee Ji and offering their soulful tributes to former PM *************

 

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri Amit Shah handed urns containing ashes of former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee to all BJP state presidents today at 11, Ashoka Road, New Delhi. Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji, External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj Ji, BJP National General Secretary (Organization) Shri Ramlal Ji along with other union ministers, BJP national office bearers and senior BJP leaders were also present in this programme. The relatives of late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee were also present on this occasion.

All the state presidents will return to their respective states with the ‘Asthi Kalash’ of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji. They will immerse ashes of Late Shri Vajpayee Ji in all the holy rivers spread across India. The ashes of late Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji will be immersed in more than 100 holy rivers across the country.

It will be an opportunity for every party member and every citizen of the country living in remote areas to pay last respect to their beloved leader. It is a true tribute to the great leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party who devoted his whole life in the service to the nation and the party.

Not only the BJP family, but the whole nation is bereaved on the demise of Shri Vajpayee Ji and offering their soulful tributes to former PM.

The ‘Asthi Visarjan’ of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was held in Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar (Uttarakhand) on August 19, 2018. Many dignitaries including BJP National President Shri Amit Shah Ji, Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat Ji along with family members and relatives of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, were present for the 'Asthi Visarjan'.

Subsequently, a Shradhanjali Sabha in memory of Shri Vajpayee ji was organized at K D Jadhav Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Monday and attended by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, BJP National President Shri Amit Shah Ji and all the main leaders from different parties and dignitaries from various social and religious organizations.
