Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM National President, Smt. Poonam Mahajan addressed a Press Conference at the BJP Head Quarter today.  She shared with media that BJYM is organizing a National Convention with the name of Yuva Mahadhiveshan – Vijay Lakshya 2019. This grand convention will have participation of over 1 lakh Youth Volunteers including 72000 Office Bearers of BJYM, right down to the zila and mandal levels from Kanyakumari to Kashmir; Gujarat to Sikkim.All these delegates will be staying in Hyderabad city for 3 days for which the party has made arrangements.

The convention aims to cover and discuss various National as well as some global issues underscoring the importance of India’s foreign policy and future. The specific focus would be on Political resolutions and Youth resolutions covering important dimensions for youth participation in politics. BJYM National Convention will help the youth karyakartas to understand the development process and Good Governance narrative that will mark the future of politics.

India is one of the fastest growing Young Nations and as the largest youth organization in the country;BJYM is committed to create new leadership opportunities for youth in India, encouraging their participation in the nation building process.

According to BJYM National President Poonam Mahajan, this convention is going to be historic for many reasons. This is the first time that an event of this scale is organized by the youth wing in South India. The registration process for the Mahadhiveshan is completely online, saving thousands of trees, as over a lakh karyakartas from around the country register for the event. In fact use of technology will be the hallmark of this convention; a ‘state of the art’ control room set up in Hyderabad serves as the nerve center for coordinating this mammoth exercise.  The convention site will be wifi-enabled to allow for participants to get event schedule and other update on their mobiles and to enable them to share regular updates on social media. BJYM will also do live broadcast of the event through all social media platforms.

The convention in Hyderabad will see massive participation from the North Eastern states, which is testimony to the success of BJP’s ‘Act East’ policy.  Similarly a record participation of women will be seen as focused efforts by BJYM have led to more and more women joining BJYM in the past few years.

A separate ‘Namo Zone’ has been set up at the program site, which will have a set up for Namo App installation, sale of Namo and BJYM Merchandise. All States will also be showcasing their culture and organizational work done by them in the past 2 years on special LED screens set up for this purpose.

The occasion will be graced by the presence of various political leaders, senior office bearers BJP, Ministers from the incumbent government, Chief ministers of various states and our BJP National president Shri. Amit Shah Ji who will be present for the ‘Telangana Yuva Jan Sabha’ to mark the closing of the Mahadhiveshan. Over two lakh youth will participate in this ‘Yuva Jan Sabha’ on October 28^th. All former BJYM Presidents will also be speaking at the event.
