Chopra, Maj. Gen. S.D. Avasthi, Maj. Gen. Dr. S.S. Chauhan, Maj. Gen. R. Singh, Maj. Gen. S.P. Sinha, Maj. Gen. K.K. Bakshi, Air Com. S.S. Tyagi, Air Com. Vikram Singh, Air Com. R. Nath, Air Com. BJP National President, Shri Rajnath Singh in his address to the Ex-servicemen reiterated the BJP's stand that the party after coming in power will implement all the pending issues related to the Defence Forces and Ex-servicemen, which includes one-rank one pension. Procurement/Development of weapons, dignity of servicemen etc.

During his address Gen. V.K. Singh said that army persons are patriot and their very much worried about the country even after retirement and BJP is the only party whom we consider the most patriot and nationalist party that's why we join the BJP.

General Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC is a retired Indian Army officer (1970–2012) who served as the 26th Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army. Vijay Kumar Singh comes from Bapora village in Bhiwani district in the Indian state of Haryana. He graduated from the Defence Services Staff College as an honours graduate of the United States Army Infantry School, a graduate of the Rangers Course at Fort Benning and the United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

On 11 March 2011, Singh was inducted into the United States Army War College (Class of 2001 graduate) International Fellows Hall of Fame. He is the 33rd International Fellow and the first Indian Armed Forces officer to be inducted.
