Press release by the BJP National General Secretary Shri Arun Singh regarding Mukhyamantri Parishad meeting

 

Mukhyamantri Parishad Will be held in the vibrant city of Varanasi on 13th and 14th December 2021.

 

Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be taking part in the BJP CM’s conclave. Chief Ministers of 12 BJP ruled states and 9 Deputy Chief Ministers will attending the conclave.

 

The Chief Ministers who will take part are CMs of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Both the deputy CMs of the Party in Bihar and Deputy CM of Nagaland will also participate. From the hill states to coastal states, from the Northeast to Southern India, from the western-most part of India to the eastern-most and the heart of India, the conclave will encapsulate the diversity of India.

 

This conclave will witness extensive and fruitful deliberations on a wide range of subjects relating to good governance and the pro-people initiatives being undertaken in line with the BJP’s focus on all-round development. Best governance related practices from the states will also be showcased by the various Chief Ministers. The conclave will provide Chief Minister the opportunity to learn and grow from the others and highlight the good they are doing.

 

Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has served 13 long years as a Chief Minister and thus is sensitive to the aspirations of the states. As Prime Minister, he has always worked in line with the Mantra of cooperative federalism. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, regular meetings were held with Chief Ministers and they were consulted on different aspects of fighting the pandemic.

 

The Conclave proceedings will begin after the Kashi Vishwanath corridor is dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister. Chief Ministers will join the various cultural and spiritual programmes including the visit to the Ghats and the viewing of the Ganga Aarti by boat.

 

Such a conclave is being held in Varanasi for the first time. The inaugural session will be addressed by BJP National President Shri J P Nadda while PM Modi will be delivering valedictory address. 

 

Besides Shri J P Nadda and the PM Narendra Modi, Party’s National Organising Secretary  Shri B L Santhosh will also join the deliberations. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and former Party Vice President Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, who has been associated with the BJP’s  Good Governance Department, will also be present.
