Media address by Former Karnataka CM Shri Jagadish Shettar on assuming primary membership of the party in the presence of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shri BS Yediyurappa

In the presence of Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Shri B.S. Yediyurappa, Shri Jagadish Shettar formally joined the party by taking primary membership at the national headquaters in Delhi. During the event, Union Environment Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav , MoS IT Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, National Media Incharge Shri Anil Baluni, and Karnataka BJP President Shri BY Vijayendra were present.

During the programme, Shri B.S. Yediyurappa, along with all the dignitaries on the stage, formally inducted Shri Jagadish Shettar into the Bharatiya Janata Party by issuing him the official membership slip.

Speaking at the event, Union Environment Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav expressed great satisfaction over Shri Jagadish Shettar's decision to resign from the Congress Legislative Council membership and rejoin the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shri Bhupendra Yadav extended a warm welcome to Shri Jagadish Shettar into the party and expressed optimism that he would leverage his administrative and strategic skills to bolster the party's presence in Karnataka.

Shri Jagadish Shettar emphasized that under the esteemed leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, India is making steady progress on the developmental path, with the expectation that the nation will soon be counted among the top developed countries. Shri Jagadish Shettar asserted that under the guidance of the respected Prime Minister, the party is determined for the development of the nation and the establishment of Ram Rajya and he conveyed his wish to contribute in this developmental journey.
