Mr HAGIUDA Koichi, member of House of Representatives (Japan) met with Hon'ble Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji at the BJP HQ, New Delhi today and emphasised on the importance of India-Japan relations in Indo-Pacific.

 

Hon'ble Shri Nadda had a productive meeting with Mr HOGIUDA, Chairperson, Policy Research Council of the ruling LDP of Japan. Both the leaders had in depth discussion on several aspects of people to people interactions in the field of education, skill development, health & wellness. They had discussion on ways of boosting Indo-Japan relationship along with enhancing public and cultural interactions between two countries.

 

Mr HAGIUDA previously served as Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry from October 2021 to August 2022 and  Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology from 2019 to 2021. He has also served as Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary in late Mr. Shinzo ABE’s administration prior to which he was Mr ABE’s special advisor.
