Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi
New Delhi, 13th December, 2013 : Bharatiya Janata Party's Vice-President and Central Programme Co-ordinator Prabhari, Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has stated that BJP will participate in "Run For Unity" programme after taking pledge of dignity and 'Suraj' on the 15th December, the death anniversary of Ironman Sardar Patel.
Shri Naqvi has also stated that before the commencement of iron collection and soil collection programme for the construction of world's tallest statue of Sardar Patel as announced by BJP Prime Ministerial Candidate and Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi, "Run for Unity" programmes will be organised across the country in which persons coming from social, cultural, religious, sports and art fields will participate. The distance for "Run for Unity" will be 02 Kms at all the places.
Shri Naqvi has also stated that all the senior national leaders, Chief Ministers, state leaders district and Karyakartas of the unit below that, members of Parliament, legislators, representatives of people will participate in the "Run for Unity" and "Iron Collection – Soil Collection" programme. This "Rashtriya Teerath" will be built with the support of each person and village of the entire country, which will prove as a pride and inspiratory place.
Shri naqvi has also stated that the world's tallest statue of Ironman Sardar Patel will be built at Sardar Sarovar Dame in Gujarat. It will be of double the height of Statue of Liberty in America. Sardar Patel has united 565 princely states with the country. That is why it has been named "Statue of Unity". It is the dream project of the Chief Minister of Gujarat and future Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Keeping in view Sardar's personality its height is 182 meters or 600 feet or equal to 60 storeys whereas the height of Statue of Liberty is 93 meters.
Shri Naqvi has stated that in order to unite the entire nation through this mission, a letter has been sent to all the Sarpanchs on behalf of Shri Narendra Modi. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Unity Trust is organising essay, speech and painting competitions in schools, folk song competitions will be held at district level, which will highlight the efforts being made by SHri Narendra Modi regarding Sardar's life national unity, 'Suraj'.
Shri Naqvi has stated that under this campaign, a signature list has been prepared on which all the people in cities and villages will put their signature so that crores of people of the country may feel associated with it. during the period from 16 to 26 January, we will bring village sacred soil, pieces of iron used by farmers and photo of village pradhan from each village ceremoniously.
National Coordinator of Iron Collection, Shri Om Prakash Dhankad has stated has stated that our team will go to each village. Women and men of the entire village will arrange send-off iron pieces and soil of their village in a very emotional atmosphere of singing of songs, music and beating of drums, etc. In order to collect the above material, each village kit is being sent to our district committee on behalf of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Unity Turst. When iron material of all the villages gets collected at district centre, then equipped vehicles from Gujarat will go to collect it ceremoniously, we should get together in thousands to give them send-off.
