Rahul Gandhi has no answer to the problems of today created by his government hence resorting to false history
The election of 2014 is going to be fought upon the issues of today’s i.e. rising unemployment, country’s growth rate coming down to an all time low of 4.7%, price rise, stinking corruption, loot of public money, profound sense of insecurity in the country and a whole range of other ills which has strongly dented the very image of India leading to an utter sense of hopelessness in the country. People of India are yearning for a change. Legitimate questions are being asked from Rahul Gandhi as to what answer he has to all these. He has none, therefore to divert attention; a completely false and mischievous allegation has been labelled by him about RSS involvement in the killing of Mahatma Gandhi. So, many commission of inquiry including Justice Kapur commission has clearly found these allegations to be without basis long ago. Mr. Rahul Gandhi neither has an understanding of history nor his speech writer do their homework.
Shri Raj Mohan Gandhi, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi has written the biography of Sardar Patel “PATEL – A LIFE”. In this book at page 472 the author has quoted the letter dated 27.02.1948 written by Sardar Patel to Jawahar Lal Nehru which is being quoted below:
“Patel to Nehru, 27.2.48: I have kept myself almost in daily touch with the progress of the investigation regarding Bapu’s assassination case. I devote a large part of my evening to discussing with Sanjeevi (head of intelligence and I.G. of Police, Delhi) the day’s progress and giving instructions to him on any points that arise.
All the accused have given long and detailed statements… It emerges clearly from these statements that the RSS was not involved in it at all. It was a fanatical wing of the Hindu Mahasabha that (hatched) the conspiracy and saw it through.”
Therefore, Sardar Patel clearly confirmed based upon proper police investigation that RSS has no involvement at all. Obviously Congress is desperate, dejected, has no enthusiasm or public support in the coming election, a massive defeat is very much possible may be an all time low for the party. Hence this falsehood and deliberate mischievous campaign which the people are bound to reject.
Why Nehru-Indira Gandhi long regime did not confer Bharat Ratna to Sardar Patel and Maulana Azad?
Since a lot of false history is being projected by Rahul Gandhi and the Congress, it is time to raise a proper question from Congress Party and its leaders in general and Rahul Gandhi in particular about a fact of history. Both Sardar Patel and Maulana Azad were great Indians fully deserving of the Bharat Ratna for their outstanding service for the Country. Sardar Patel died in 1950 while Maulana Azad passed away in 1958. After India became free Jawahar Lal Nehru was the PM for 17 years, Indira Gandhi for 16 years and Rajeev Gandhi for 5 years. During these 38 long years so many national leaders were given Bharat Ratna including Shri Nehru and Smt. Indira Gandhi and they were rightly given.
However, the country wants to know why these two great Indians Sardar Patel and Maulana Azad were not thought fit to be conferred Bharat Ratna by the Nehru-Indira long regime and it was only in 1991 that the Government headed by Shri Narsimha Rao gave Bharat Ratna to Sardar Patel and in 1992 to Shri Azad. Shri Rao was the Prime Minister outside the family and is rarely even talked about by the Congress party. The BJP would like Mr. Rahul Gandhi to reply as to why Sardar Patel and Maulana Azad were discriminated? Obviously for Congress party of today glory and respect means of the family only.
