RESOLUTION

National Democratic Alliance congratulates Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri NarendraModiji for the historic mandate that NDA has got under his leadership in the Assembly Elections of Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Manipur and Goa. This is a mandate for the pro poor policies and public welfare schemes of NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. This mandate has established Shri Narendra Modi as an agent of change and progress. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, with the pledge of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas a series of programs have been launched, through which perceptible change has been brought at ground level, this march of victory is the result of successful implementation of all those programs.

The National Democratic Alliance congratulates Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for three glorious years of good governance and development. The alliance firmly believes that the NDA governments under the decisive and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi are ensuring Sabka Vikas through Sabka Saathwhile partnering with the people, throwing open multiple channels for translating aspirations and hope into prosperity and progress. All the initiatives of NDA government are based on that idea of greater participation of people in the process of nation building while ensuring economic justice. Today it is the NDA Government that is inspiring trust and confidence in every Indian citizen. Our alliance is continuously increasing its base over all sections of the society and expanding in all regions of the country.

The NDA commend the government for initiating series of new programs, strong decision making processes and actionable policies in the country. It is making significant efforts for implementing effective programs for health and sanitation like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Programs for welfare of industrial workers and for employment and skill training of the youth, efforts to increase agricultural incomes and productivity, PM Jan DhanYojna for financial inclusion to ensure access to financial services for poor, PM Mudra Yojna for development and refinancing activities, development of basic infrastructure, Adarsh Gram, Smart Cities, Rural electrification, Digital Connectivity and programs to bring the North Eastern states of our country into the mainstream of development.

NDA government has taken significant measures to help farmers’ deal with hard times of drought and heavy rains which result in crop loss. It has also started new programs for growth and improvement of agriculture, for social security of farmers and other persons who are dependent on agriculture, for development of basic infrastructure in villages, for increasing employability in the rural areas and providing social security to landless sections in our villages.

A large proportion of our countrymen are without social security of any kind - health, accidental or life. The government has started to work towards creating a universal social security system for all Indians, specially the poor and the underprivileged. It will be achieved through Pradhan MantriSurakshaBimaYojna, Atal Pension Yojna and the Pradhan MantriJeevanJyotiBimaYojana.

The first three years of the NDA government have been marked by significant measures to alleviate poverty, enable socio-economic empowerment of the marginalized sections and lay a robust foundation for economic progress. ‘SABKA SATH SABKA VIKAS’ is the underlying philosophy of the government. Appropriate blending of welfare and growth measures is the hallmark of the NDA government’s governance model.

The UPA government had left a legacy of doles and hand-outs, redistributing poverty. This government has changed that mindset to one of development. NDA Government understands and empathizes with the fact that better social and economic conditions are necessary for the development of humankind. To boost pride and ensure self-confidence of every section of our society we are committed to inclusive development.
NDA commends the efforts of Government in respect of its foreign policy and diplomatic initiatives to position India as a major power in regional as well as global scenario. The last three years have marked a significant and considerable improvement in bilateral relations with major world powers. It also lauds the Governments for its decisive and bold steps like surgical strikes to safeguard the national interest.

India under the exceptional leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has emerged as one of the fastest growing economy. Economic experts and multilateral institutions have acknowledged India’s growth story. They have hailed various schemes and initiatives of the NDA government. This is not just by chance, but due to extensive and persistent efforts by the government and its prudent policies. NDA government has taken a number of initiatives to ensure better financial regime in the country. It has also brought several legislations to counter the corruption ridden systems that were inherited from the earlier UPA regime.

Measures of NDA Government like increased transparency and accountability in governance, scam free administration and prudent fiscal management policies under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has improved ease of doing business, which in turn has attracted more investments in the country. This has facilitated in making the objectives of initiatives like Make in India, Startup India, and Standup India a reality.
National Democratic Alliance welcomes the vision and efforts of Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Government towards GST which will pave the way for one nation one tax. A qualitative change in the tax system is expected through the GST, which has recently been passed by both the houses of the Parliament. NDA also congratulates the Government for approving the proposal to provide constitutional status to the National Commission for socially and Educationally Backward Classes.

To bring all inclusive development and ensure participation of larger number of people in the democratic processes Sh. NDA Government has invoked the spirit of cooperative federalism, empowering the States with greater say in decision-making processes for allocation of financial resources. This has paved the way for a model where States with the leadership of the Centre are working to strengthen our communities and to empower each and every citizen of our Country. In the past three years every Indian has witnessed faster changes, greater transparency with high growth in sight, thanks to a Government and a Prime Minister who they have faith in.

The NDA government under the trusted and progressive leadership of Shri Narendra Modi is serving the Nation through the policies and values of achieving an all inclusive, equitable development. NDA Government has taken path-breaking and historical decisions to establish transparency and procedural simplification for responsible governance. In a span of three years, our Government has restored faith in the Country’s economy and credibility of our Institutions. It has taken decisive steps to strengthen the spirit of cooperative federalism. We have also started working to bring the people and regions of the North Eastern States of our Country into the mainstream with special programs and provisions for the region. For the first time we have made a decisive shift away from centralized institutional mechanisms that were earlier devised and delivered in Delhi with a “one size fits all” mindset.

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is successfully leading the nation towards the vision of a prosperous and powerful India, with utmost commitment and enormous hard work. All the constituents of NDA along with the people of India are fully determined to assist our Hon’ble Prime Minister and his government in realizing the vision. NDA expresses the confidence, that the efforts of Central Government under the leadership of the Shri Narendra Modi, the economy will continue to grow and with the social equality and economic empowerment there will be a transformation in the lives of the poor. The NDA Government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister looks at both our successes and our challenges as opportunities to do more and to do better.

National Democratic Alliance appeals to the people of our country that for development and continuity of pro poor programs, in 2019 General Election as well, we must pledge to form the Government under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi with a thumping majority.
