Salient points of speech of Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while interacting with Intellectuals and Professionals in Police Complex, Chumukedima, Nagaland
The Hon’ble National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today met with several Intellectuals and Professionals and also addressed the meet. He said the NDA government in Nagaland under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is continuously working for the all-round development of the State and we will continue to empower every citizen of Nagaland.
● It is indeed a matter of great opportunity and happiness for me to be here and meet such charismatic Intellectuals and Professionals. It gives me immense pleasure to come here and talk to you. First of all, I would like to thank Dy. CM Shri YV Patton and our state president Shri Temjen Imna and I would also like to thank all of you present here in this meeting.
● For the first time in the history of our country, India has got a tribal Woman President. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi we have always been very respectful towards women and have been working relentlessly for the development of women in our Country.
● Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi our government is working day and night for the development of poor, rural areas. We are continuously working for those who were deprived from the basic amenities of life. We have also worked for women, youth and every section of society.
● When I talk about women empowerment, Under the Swachhta Abhiyan we have built 11 crore toilets which are called ‘izzat ghar’. As a result 11 Crores of women are living with dignity and pride.
● If I talk about Ujwala Yojna it is another excellent example of women empowerment. When I talk about Saubhagya Yojana, we have provided electrification to remote areas of the country. It is yet another power to women and youth.
● Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi such programs have been providing dignity, pride and empowerment to every section of society especially people who were deprived from such basic facilities for several years of Independence.
● Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi world’s largest Anna yojana is Pradhanmantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Under which more than 80 crores of people is getting 5kgs of wheat or rice every month from April 2020.
● Recently the whole country has celebrated 75 years of Independence as Azadi ka Amrit Mohotsav. We celebrated 75 years of Independence Day by celebrating Har Ghar Tiranga abhiyan and I must say Nagaland has come out in flying colors in celebrating Har Ghar Tiranga abhiyan. I would like to congratulate each and every person of Nagaland for making this abhiyan successful.
● Bharatiya Janata Party Karyakartas are the ambassadors of Society and ambassadors of Seva. 17th September is the birthday of our Dynamic Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. We all know he believes in Seva. So, the Party has decided that corers of party karyakartas will involve themselves in Seva Pakhwada.
● We as a party will be doing a Mega Blood Donation program and we are going to break all records of blood donation and I know Nagaland will not remain behind in this program as well. We will ensure that the maximum number of people participate in the blood donation program. We are also going to visit an orphanage and orphanage school there. We are going to take care of orphan kids. We will also take care of the poor and see to it that deprived sections of society are taken care of. We will be visiting Anganwadi centers where we will be taking care of students and also providing them with nutritious food. We have also planned to visit Hospitals and health care centers. We are going to do tree plantations on a large scale in every part of the country. So many Seva Programs are going to take place related to health, education and also taking care of environment and saying goodbye to plastic.
● I am confident that every person of Nagaland will participate in the Seva Pakhwada program starting from 17th September to 2nd October Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
● Friends, Bharatiya Janata Party has come a long way, Nowadays all political parties have become a dynasty party. Practically no political party has left which has got an ideology. But I can say with immense pride that since 1951 we are the only party which is consistent in ideology. Our Party has always functioned with the ideology of integral humanism, antyodaya ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and taking care of deprived class. We have always talked about One Nation, One Flag, One Constitution and One Prime Minister. Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi we ensured that Article 370 was abrogated from Kashmir. We made sure that every state is an integral part of country.
● The Narendra Modi government has invested thousands of crores on the infrastructure of the North East. The work of connecting all the state capitals of the North East with the rail network is going on at a brisk pace. The mission of connecting the state capitals of the North East with 4 lanes, district headquarters with 2 lanes and villages with all-weather roads is progressing rapidly.
● Under the guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister, our government has set a target of resolving all the disputes of the Northeast.
● Under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India developed two Made in India Corona vaccines thus showing India's prowess, while around more than 215 crore vaccine doses have already been administered so far. India gave over 1.48 crore vaccine doses to various countries free of cost. We also gave vaccines to over 100 nations. Indian vaccines have been appreciated across the world as they are cheap and highly effective. Our Vaccine Maitri initiative has been hailed across the globe.
● The Corona pandemic badly affected the global economy. The world is facing an economic crisis and trying to battle the after-effects of the pandemic but under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, our economy is growing at a fast pace. In the last financial years India clocked a growth rate of over 8.7% while the world's average growth rate is just around 6%. India's economy grew by 13.5 per cent in the April-June period this fiscal -- the fastest in the last four quarters -- on account of better performance by the agriculture and services sectors.
● For development of Northeast India Modi came up with the Look east policy. We are trying to resolve the border dispute between Assam and Meghalaya. If anyone has truly recognised the problems and issues of the tribals, it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
● The consistent efforts of the Government under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and improvement in the security situation in the Northeast has resulted in a significant step by the Government of India to reduce the disturbed areas under Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) in Nagaland, Assam and Manipur after decades. We are trying to solve the Assam-Meghalaya border issues too and very soon we will resolve it.
● I would like to say that it is really an opportunity to the people of Nagaland and people of India that under the dynamic leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, the country is prospering at a very high speed taking big leaps as far as development is concerned. I am also happy to note that Nagaland is also not left behind. We are committed to the speedy growth of Nagaland.
● The NDA government in Nagaland under the able leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji is working fine. We will continue to empower every citizen of Nagaland.
