New Delhi, 15 Dec, 2016: Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs (Independent Charge) & Parliamentary Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said that Shri Rahul Gandhi has been writing the last chapter of “Congress Mukt Bharat” (Congress free India) through “flop and expired script” and eroding whatever base the Congress has left with.

Talking to media persons at Parliament, Shri Naqvi said that Shri Rahul Gandhi and the Congress should realise that when "skeletons of corruption" will start coming out from “the Well of the Congress' corruption" then it will disturb the "political mathematics" of their "Yuvraj". Earlier too, Shri Rahul Gandhi and the Congress had levelled baseless and illogical allegations. But they had to face embarrassment and they had been exposed when the truth came out.

Last year also, in the matter of Lalit Modi, Shri Rahul Gandhi had said that an earthquake will come when he will speak on the issue. Shri Rahul Gandhi spoke on the issue in Parliament but no earthquake came but the Congress lost state elections one by one.

Shri Naqvi said that the Congress and Shri Rahul Gandhi don't have any fact or logic. They are just engaged in “conspiracy” to weaken the fight against black money and corruption through "rumours and propaganda of falsehood". The Congress and its allies should keep it in mind that this battle is a battle of honesty Vs dishonesty. This fight is a mission for prosperity of poor and weaker sections. Any conspiracy against this mission by the Congress or anybody else will not succeed.

Shri Naqvi said that corruption and loot is in the DNA of the Congress. During ten years of the Congress, scams such as 2G spectrum scam, coal scam, Commonwealth Games scam, Adarsh Society scam took place. Latest revelation in Agusta chopper scam is indicating involvement of Congress’ “first family”. This is the reason that the Congress party and its "Yuvraj" see corruption everywhere. This is the reason that while on one hand, the people of the country have welcomed and supported the historic step of demonetisation taken by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, on the other hand the Congress and its few allies are opposing this fight against corruption and black money.

Shri Naqvi said that Congress' "Yuvraj" should realise that the Congress remained on 44 seats in the Lok Sabha only because of their “politics based on falsehood and baseless and illogical propaganda”. Whenever an election to Assembly, Panchayat or local bodies held, the Congress got humiliating defeat. The country has been moving forward to become "Congress-free" and only "political drama" of "Brand New Leader of the Grand Old Party" is responsible for this.

Shri Naqvi said that during Assembly elections about six months ago, the Congress got defeat in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The BJP not only formed the Government in Assam, it also strengthened its base in other states. Even after the "misinformation campaign" by the Congress and its allies on the issue of demonetisation, the BJP emerged victorious in local bodies’ elections in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. In Maharashtra, the BJP won 851 seats in 147 Municipal Councils and 17 Panchayat. The BJP won 107 out of 123 seats in local bodies in Gujarat. In Rajasthan, the BJP won 19 out of 37 Panchayat and Municipal seats.

Shri Naqvi said that due to "political bankruptcy", the Congress leaders had questioned surgical strikes by the Indian Army to demoralise out security forces. They even raised questions on killing of terrorists.
